  1. Which means he absolutely should be sold now to avoid another walk away on a free
  2. IMO, he’s not got the physicality/ pace/ awareness of trouble to play single pivot 6 in the PL or championship unless he’s at a team which has 60%+ possession stats.
  3. Jeez theres nothing wrong with it if that’s what they believe then it’s the right thing to say. They got it out there quite quickly that the driver was middle aged and white in order to shut down the traditional narratives. (And they even got stick for doing that from those morons) but it’s not definitive so early into an investigation unless they have proof of another motive/explanation in which case they could make that public at the same time.
  4. I didn’t say it was ? I know terrorism has defined specifics just saying that I’d treat people who do things like this as I would a terrorist. apparently so but they can’t have made exhaustive enquiries into the fella yet. Haven’t had time. People seem a little over sensitive to a comment in parenthesis that I made which was factually correct. terrorists are not racially defined - they come in all kinds of colours.
  5. That’s probably true but they have been known to drive into crowds I was just making a point that in the past (across many incidents and not just in this country) authorities have made a statement that they don’t believe it to be terror related and then had to backtrack when more info came to light of the perpetrator. Imo, anyone who does what this fella did, be it sober, drugged up or pissed, should be treated like a terrorist. Only by pure luck has he not killed anyone.
  6. Thank god no fatalities at the time sounds like 2 are v seriously injured not being treated as terrorism (although they said that about Southport at first)
  7. Worked last season but not sure it can with Jacub one of the most important cogs in that type of wheel
  8. We’d have still needed to sell and no way our recruitment would have been good enough admittedly being relegated last season would have been difficult but I reckon we’d still have managed it with that deduction
  9. Six point deduction last season and we’d have been relegated ……
  10. How long before cars, vans and trucks are banned from the centre of towns ? Until we have self driving cars then I fear there may be no alternative.
  11. A season in the championship will do him good he's is more than capable at that level and it should enable him to either kick on and show there’s a v decent player in there or we’ll know that it’s his ceiling. Hope it’s the former but if you want me to take a punt then I reckon it’s the latter - would be frustrating because I think a lot of it is in his head rather than his feet. prove me wrong kasey!!
  12. Correct however, atm we have a contractual liability to RVN for next season of his salary. That doesn’t have to be accounted for in this seasons accounts. If we agree a settlement that means he continues to receive his salary monthly next season as would have happened then surely that amount doesn’t have to be brought forwards into this years accounts to end June? If the settlement means an immediate payout or something different to his existing contract then I accept that has to come onto 24/25. Of course a payout that effectively goes onto next seasons numbers will mean we’re double paying for a manager in 25/26.
  13. A lot of people on SM don’t seem to realise he was leaving. MOTD irrespective of the latest hooha gives them a chance to virtue signal though so it’s cool 😀
  14. It’s non competitive re jeopardy 17 clubs are effectively unafraid of relegation I mean wolves were in it, changed their coach and comfortably eased away from trouble.
  15. The three promoted teams will v likely fill the bottom three places. The PL is non competitive now because two seasons of three up dropping down means the promoted sides cannot compete. Leeds would need their players to have a Lcfc 2016 season to avoid the drop. Burnley and sland - don’t see them having a hope.
  16. Couldn’t have asked for a better set of other clubs results are forest doing a Leicester ? Well we also ended up in the conference league so I guess so 😄
  17. Was going to post that he’s so bad he’s bound to score
  18. On the basis that villa down to ten men
  19. Nuno’s teamtalk quite straightforward now
  20. Kid gonna choose a London train station over us
  21. Obviously- just saying that’s what they’d prefer
  22. Wasnt thinking of that
  23. Could have done with Sheffield u going up today
  24. They do have broad mares so youd hope so
  25. They’ve brought in about £5.5m since Jan 2021 in prize money must have spent more than that in training fees (that’s before you take into account the tens of millions spent on purchases).
