Ta tboight I was in a parallel universe for a moment

Better option than Brussell and if he wants the gig then why not he’s got plenty of form for getting a club promoted and keeping a club up that’s what we need (yeah cooper …. I know but he was one offs )
-
Sounds perfect for our recruitment profile
-
having re read it I’m not totally convinced this website is reliable - especially referring to sterling at Liverpool @ 17 y o when he wasn’t. https://ukfootballacademyfinder.com/football_pathway_advice/what-happens-with-a-first-pro-contract/
-
Done some reading and seems that players can be offered a scholarship contract for 3 years which delivers a salary once they turn 17. So whilst you can’t pay them much at 16, you could make that scholarship contract pay 40k/ week beyond 17 y o which effectively means the kid is paid 30k/week for the three years. Once he’s 17, that contract could be renegotiated upwards if necessary. no doubt this is what other clubs will be approaching him with.

Consequence of the bottom three being totally uncompetitive- so no need to try in the PL it’s a big problem because without any jeopardy the league away from the top becomes a non event gonna have to change something to allow some promoted teams to invest to a level where they can compete over 38 games. Maybe that idea where an owner places several hundred million in escrow so that if a promoted club overspends in the first season where allowed, they will not risk administration if relegated and unable to balance books.
-
And without that event we wouldn’t have done what we did sliding doors moment !

the ‘deal’ is a 90 day moratorium with the hiked tariffs cut by 115% back to close to where they were at the outset! Looks like a tissue or hanky to me
-
He had a chance to win it and also missed a pass to vards thats probs why
-
Wonder what levels of tariffs constitutes a deal ?? the 145% doesn’t kick in on imports arriving USA till 25th may. Hence pretty sure that they’d come to some kind of deal before then.
-
A player can’t refuse to play (yeah I know some have but winks wouldn’t be that player) rvn won’t play him and he’s clearly been told that he’ll be sold the shenanigans won’t help us get a decent fee either he will bring in a few million re psr - that’s why he’ll be sold ahead of skipp
-
Massive game for their season our lads are basically on the beach anything other than a comfortable forest win would be a big shock hopefully we don’t get further embarrassed for the sake of the supporters that are going there.
-
My concern same players look like a top 8 club since he left ! I was very much pro him until I’ve seen what moyes has done however, we must remember that a lot of coaches have a sell by date with the same group of players. It just goes stale.
-
The Europeans will welcome the talks and express their hope that they quickly lead to a ceasefire as per their declarations yesterday Putin is just stalling trump is looking for anything he can sell as a positive His simplistic approach to complex scenarios is falling apart before his eyes. And he can’t understand it cos someone told him it would be easy.

Certainly seems that the blocking periods are becoming more entrenched as the weaker jet buckles more easily hence, depending where we sit in respect to the blocks we either get sustained periods (months) of wet or dry

Who says footballers aren’t stoopid ??

And several of a rather less prestigious level …… -
Obviously but I’m still surprised by the stats based on the numbers of second and third generation immigrants that there must be in Leicester
-
Considering how long our city has had such a significant population of immigrants, it’s interesting that 43% were born outside of England. You’d think that the number of second and third generation ( born here) would have made this percentage much lower.

All hail the donald apparently the carefree agreed between India and Pakistan is down to his intervention … (tbh, they needed to get there so being able to claim the yanks leant on them to do it saves face)

Ben Nelson - loan to Oxford United - Official
st albans fox replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
It would be naive to dismiss a scenario where we can’t get what we need for players we’ve designated as a sale income (we still get rid re wages) so we have to put out feelers to see what we can bring in for Nelson. Would also be a worse case for us as a lack of interest would bring a lower fee. -
Yep its up to ten years reckon they get 4
-
Considering the momentum and control sale had after around 50/55 mins, that was an incredible last half hour.

Getting serious on the sub continent - IPL suspended !

Ruud van Nistelrooy - New Manager - Official

The lack of comms may be based on advice from their legal people. If no one has spoken to him (this may not be true btw) it’s much more likely that the plan is for him to leave at the end of the season. If there genuinely is uncertainty from our side then surely we’d be discussing plans for next season on the basis that he might stay.
