If true, this is also telling us that players who have signed recently will have relegation release clauses Doubt anyone would activate fats but wilf, vesty, winks, skipp, okoli are all possibilities
-
But he wouldn’t have been free he’d have wanted a s/ o fee which would have been at least 10m spread over his contract. We must have agreed to pay something like £5m for him to renew. I think he’s the one risking losing out rather than the buying club (or us). These things tend to end up neutral for all parties once everything is taken into account. (At his level - when you’re taking about really good players then the sums can’t be covered).
-
£9m and taking on his £4m/season wage is good business fingers crossed need to do something similar with vesty (though for way less money - probs £2m )
-
Now out thankfully (and didn’t affect power supplies)

‘Come in mr Monga we’re looking for someone to act as an advisor. your new business based in Abu Dhabi looks like it should be able to provide this - shall we say £2.5m? oh and by the way, that boy of yours is an excellent footballer’ True
-
Tough for us to hide £5m easy for Man City or Liverpool

Having done some digging, the photo may have been interfered with but I like it so I’m going to leave it up 😂 this one is accurate though as the team bus arrives for the game

Seen a lot of videos and photos of blue flares at the Liverpool celebrations apparently an Evertonian bought a load of blue flares and spent some time relabelling them red brilliant !

Sorry it came up on x - didn’t realise it was a mail article which does lead me to question its veracity Basically saying that the CGT take is down by 1.5bn this year compared to last since Rachel’s changes will wait to see it appear on the bbc or a more serious ‘newspaper’
-
how do we feel about this ? (Assuming it’s true) https://newspaper.mailplus.co.uk/data/5977/reader/reader.html?#!preferred/0/package/5977/pub/20380/page/16/content/975156

Be astonished if you could get a policy to cover that

No one at the club wants to sell nelson no one at the club wanted to sell barnes no one at the club wanted to sell kdh -
Perhaps another reason why he may not be starting is that we can’t afford for him to get injured.

I agree but we aren’t making the decisions and we don’t live in the real world of Lcfc! -
This 120k/week is touted around and makes no sense whatsoever at the time we gave him his new contract he was still recovering from another long term injury - it seemed obvious that we would use that to get a deal at a good rate. Remember that he had already failed to have an unbroken long run post ACL so few clubs would have been prepared to take a chance on him (and certainly not at 80k+). There is no way we agreed a deal at a similar number to madders and 20k below vards given those background factors. He was on around 80k before and my assumption is that we wouldn’t have offered more than that on his extension. The above assumes some competence at board level. Clearly that’s an open goal to argue against me but seriously - we cannot be that badly run - a ten y o wouldn’t do that.

If we get offered more than 7.5m then the accountants may insist that he goes we would get a v decent sell on clause inserted at that value a Brentford/fulham/West Ham/brighton should snap him up without needing to think about it its shite isn’t it -
It will be 50k because of relegation deduction still way too high given his fitness issues but he is a good man to have around the place as opposed to some others
-
Shame for villa 😄 now just need Man City to do the business tomorrow
-

Everyone just wants to aggressively wave their cocks irrespective of anything (like even having one)!
-
If rudders hands are off the tiller and he’s basically just there to keep top informed what’s going on then that’s ok for me. we need someone capable doing the daily and strategic stuff

Cifuentes may have fallen out with qpr

Jim asked him what thought re the announcement on vardy and he simply said that all good things come to an end (perhaps also a comment on kasper leaving ? ) and then pretty much straight into the comment on the leadership of the club at a high level which led onto his watch this space comment. id be surprised if kasper doesn’t still speak to top or someone in the family
