I recall reading Martin had a tough upbringing in life, and he's done well for himself. But his "possession" football is just a lifestyle attachment, an intellectual affectation, to go with his trophy wife, nice hair, and bhuddism. When Pep had 1 inverting fullback he went 1 better and had 2. How did that work out?🤔 He has no idea how to make it work. He can't organise a defence, nor an attack. Enzo drummed into the players where they had to be positioned, where to run, and where to pass. There was no confusion. Watching the team now and there is no system at all, except an ephemeral concept of possession with absolutely no idea what to do with it.

I can't comment. I only ever played it on the ZX Spectrum.

Thanks for all your efforts again. As someone who has had a prostatectomy I know how important this is. For anyone out there in any of the risk groups who hasn't had a PSA test, just do it! It's easy if you find it early!

I really like him, maybe ultimately best in the centre of defence? Probably better in a back 3, but he is mobile. But he needs a decent coach to get him doing the right things. I think Enzo would've got him performing best. With Martin I'm not sure, he's wedded to tactics without the wit or intelligence to make them work.

Not a recent pint but worth a mention today, Barnsley Bitter (Acorn brewery). Back when the Shakespeare was still open by the underpass you could get the original Oakwell brewery version for just over £2 a pint! Whilst Oakwell brewery is no more Barnsley bitter is alive and well. I found some in a pub in Edale last year after a hike. If anyone sees it today I recommend a pint or 2!
