Page certainly looks physically stronger, a few loose passes but he does look very comfortable. Braybrooke definitely looked a bit tired in the second half but actually looked faster running with the ball than without. But his real strength is his mind, much quicker than most and he knows where the ball is going before it even reaches him. So pleased to see these kids developing in the first team.

I did think this at the time. His career with us really has been a disaster. Tragic. -

Worming kind of describes his wing play too! -
It would be nice, for him and the club. Despite the obvious PSR fiddle you're right he was rated. And all the more annoying that Chelsea produce so many good academy graduates yet we don't seem to have picked out one for the deal!

Agreed, just a feeling they're trying a little too hard, when a classic kit would feel effortless.

I don't disagree. I'm looking forward to seeing more of our talented youth, hoping we are able to ship out those on big wages who don't want to be here, and get players in who can play in the style required. We'll soon find out! -

You can't possibly ignore the context of the past few seasons, and the performances in our past 2 games. It does somewhat temper any excitement or enthusiasm when grounded in reality! -

You could be right. He doesn't seem to have many footballing instincts. I wouldn't say he's naturally talented so much as having enough physical attributes that are picked out early by academies. That will only take you so far (though I'm sure he's already earned a fortune) but he doesn't seem able to read a game or actually make much happen, other than solo efforts from distance which occasionally successful, but increasingly less so! -

Yep, just get him gone. Obviously I don't know him personally but his whole demeanor has been shockingly bad, mirroring his form, if you'd call it that, for the past couple of years. -
It's ok

Well, after the past couple of seasons I know the feeling. The difference being he is being paid to play, and I have to pay for mine and my son's season tickets!

His cleansing, exfoliating and moisturising regime seems imbalances. Rather like our line up last season.

Yes, 3 times up Montmartre, this year a little further from the finishing line, 10km.
