Better squad? yes better first 11? No Remember our 15/16 back 4 were imesnse and all 2 years younger than they were now so All have probably lost half a yard of pace. The back 4 now although solid and room for improvement given their age are not the same standard as the 15-16 back 4 two years ago. Any team loosing Kanke and Drinky are going to be worse off and as much as I love Vardy he deffo does not run around and hastle quite as much as he did back then and has lost half a yard of pace although still lightning. But we deffo have a better bench to call on although that was not much of a factor as we hardly had any injuries or suspension issues anyway.

What are you talking about? Apart from Huth Hamer and Musa were the only senior players in the squad. Hamer is our back -up keeper so clearly needs games to o stay sharp in case called upon. And Musa is clearly in the shop window. I’m all for giving youth a chance but your saying anyone who is out of the first team picture (unless coming back from injury) should be forgotten about and never play again.
