For some reason City seem to make a habit of not playing players the fans want them to, putting too much faith and friendship into the likes of King and Ulloa and generally keeping any new signings out of the starting line up for an age, literally years in some cases.

it's still virtually empty. The shops were never filled but those that did move in moved out after 2 months because the rent the owners were charging was ridiculous apparently, to the point where it was putting off other businesses from moving in and the result was zero footfall. Think there are maybe three shops in it at the moment, hairdressers and a deli. The upstairs was a restaurant and bar for all of 2 weeks . Appears the greedy willy puller owners are content to leave it empty than to actually try and get any trade in by reducing the rent. Absolute waste of space.

I still wouldn't be so sure on that. There will no doubt be Government officials, MP's etc involved in the various failings relating to the case, most likely Tory politicians too. I am allowed to be outraged. This thing happening in the first place is an outrage. Anybody wanting to defend ignoring the long list of warnings, concerns, unsafe building materials, doing things on the cheap, quangos running social housing is lost on me. The blame game will start soon and then everybody will get away with it in some way shape or form. That;s just everything that's wrong with this country and it's governance in the modern world.

You seem to have missed the part where I said fair enough not releasing the number of dead. My main issue is there have been no figures relating to the missing? It's usually one of the first statistics we get with disasters. It's been over 48 hours, the 'missing' would have been confirmed a long time before now. That would give the public a general sense of scale.

I think that's naive. The Government will of course have a hand in what information is released, especially when they have been accused of not listening to the residents for the last 10 years. Fair enough, they might not be able to confirm the dead, but they haven't even said how many are 'missing' which doesn't seem normal to me.

We know whoever was left in the building is dead and we know the number of people missing. The Government trying to soften us with low and slowly creeping death tolls to try and divert away from the true scale frankly sickens me. This will scream cover up in the end

May was a wrongen the moment she slipped the snoopers charter through without due process. I will never vote for her on that alone. As for her personal traits, clearly lacks any emotional attachment to the real world and every day human beings. To not even be arsed to show any compassion for the victims in this instance shows how rotten she is beneath that leathery skin. She's awful. This situation is awful and her government is at least partly to blame. Also, in respect of the quango organisation in control of the social housing in the borough, have they even released a statement yet? They have likely spent the last 48 hours running around trying their best to cover up any failings and inadequacy. I think the police should have hit that department asap and took control of paperwork, IT systems etc so there can be no coverup attempts. Heads need to roll for this yet someone everyone will get away with it through the usual blame shifting. The whole thing is a disgrace.

He's class. Vastly underated. Even before his current run, the games he's had in the cups over both seasons he's barely put a foot wrong. People still saying shit like 'he's fine as backup' need to get a grip: backup to two ageing, slowing old skool CBs who need phasing out over the next season? He's the only CB we have who can actually control a ball and play out from the back, he's been so refreshing.

I've watched every game he's played over the last two seasons. He had never had a bad one. I like him, always looks comfortable, can play with his feet and also puts a really good shift in, stands up too rather than hitting the ground. Good player, and good replacement next season when one of the others is sent off to the knackers yard. Why he's ever received stick on here is well beyond me.
