If people are genuinely picking their winners in this thread based on musical ability and talent then I feel for you and your ****ing awful sense of 'music'.

Doing Lucca Parkrun in a couple of weeks, which is just a loop of the city via the City Walls. Should be a pretty scenic route! -
Following Starmers lurch to the right, does the left exist in a vote winning capacity anymore?

The Eternaut people ffs. Get on board.

Agree to an extent but if developers aren't interested and don't think they can turn a profit what can you do? We are at the mercy of Developers who are only interested in building 3/4 bed detached houses made of paper and flogging them for £350k a pop. -

😂 Me the buffoon? Get with the times pal, it's not 1951 anymore. Nothing odd about a mosque in one of the most multicultural countries on Earth in one of the most multicultural cities on Earth. if Hinckley and Coalville are indicative of Old Leicester then like I say, what loss is there to lament? Brings me to a point in an argument on here the other day - people spend half their time moaning that 'they' don't integrate and the other half of their time moaning that they want everything to remain white so-called 'working class'. Can't really have both. Not sure how much travelling you've done, but there's Irish bars serving absolute shit in most of the countries I've been to, not to mention that there's Irish bars in every City in England, surely we should only have English bars in Engurland under that logic? Oh, hang on, didnt we get Irish bars here because of Irish immigration? Ironic isnt it. -

WOOOOHOOOOO! First completed run for 6 weeks since picking up IT Band Syndrome. Just a gently 3.5km but christ, it's good to be back! -
Just watched the first two episodes of The Eternaut on Netflix. So far, very promising!

Good keeper. Mads has had a howler second half of the season.

I'm not watching anymore Vardy press stuff. Sick of my lip quivering. Heart breaking.

Yeah sorry, I wasn't aiming the integration thing at you at all - it's just one of those common arguments that comes up which I think doesn't hold much sway.

It has to be that, because like every major economy, the UK makes no economic loss with immigration, in fact most evidence points to a small economic gain. Basically, lots of people just don't like foreigners is what it boils down to, in the most simplest term. Whether that's innate or bred by media and politicians like Farage is a good question though. Integration is a myth too. Cultures and communities have always had their 'places'. Most people in the UK don't even bother speaking to their neighbours, let alone those next door but one, because that's the world we live in, so to somehow make out like it's 'oh they don't integrate' is rich at best - and if it really is an issue, then it's an issue on both sides. I don't imagine blokes from Eyres Monsell are chomping at the bit to go and volunteer at a mosque in Evington (and I don't see why that's an issue - I get on perfectly fine on a personal level with the countless Muslims, Sikhs and Hindus I work with, but that doesn't mean I should be going round their houses and getting involved with their social lives does it?). Basically integration doesn't exist on any level anymore, it's an abstract and probably outdated construct to be honest. People of all faiths and nationalities tend to stick to their own small social groups. As long as everyone pays their taxes, respects the law and abides by general politeness I think that's all we can hope for. Should also say, the more you marginalise people, the less likely they are to 'integrate', surely?
