Took him a while to get to pace of game and look on it, once he did second half he was a real threat and definitely grew in confidence. Would like him off the bench as a ball carrier when we are leading, win us throws and free kicks high up the pitch. also from what I’ve seen he looks better on the left than the right.

Yard or two slow in the tackle but will have learnt so much tonight. Did okay on the ball, probably stays on for extra 15/20 if not on booking. Sensible from enzo!

Great to see in the dressing room and how pleased everyone is! No reason we can’t sneak a Wembley appearance, just don’t take our eye off the ball in the league!

Exactly what I thought

Liked the look of Ronnie Edward’s as a ball playing centre half last night. Not sure how good defensively he was as was rarely tested but very confident on the ball and happy to have a similar areas to vestergaard. Granted not the same level of opposition but watched after Ric Flair mentioned him last summer.

Didn’t know where else to put this, nice to see a video of academy lads of all ages watching first team keepers and replicating some of the drills they can. Can only help them if we are to have a thorough way of playing getting it at an early age. Hope they do similar with the outfield players although this be more difficult due to the numbers of players etc.
