I'm sure I heard the Sky commentator say at full time, that the championship is the most watched league in the world. Is that correct? I thought the Premier league was?

I swear we would pass to back to Mads if we had a pen

Ignore him, it's me. However, I have had extensive plastic surgery since then so look completely different, plus I have completely lost my tan. -
And dont forget, I think we conceded a vast majority of those in the previous couple of seasons.

Indeed. Tonight, as in previous matches, one of our midfielders receives a ball and has acres of space in front of him. Far too often however, he then passes it sideways, even back. Surely he and others can see this and push forward at pace in these circumstances?

I assumed Vardy would start in this, so why keep him on for 90 mins against Wednesday? Wonder why Cannon wasn't given 30 mins at Hillsborough to give JV a rest? Perhaps a mis-firing Nacho is back in the starting line-up on Saturday?

These programmes that follow real life police squads and investigations, usually give you an update at the end informing you of the sentences those convicted receive - or not as the case may be. You can guarantee they are trivial. Not only is this annoying, I believe it could encourage more crime when you see the light prison terms or suspended terms criminals often receive. Not only that, it could also give these law breakers, ideas on how to avoid detection or to get charged with a lessor offence. Classic example of that on The Met tonight (BBC One). A guy was assaulting and/or exposing himself over a period of time. The exposing charges were not successful because his defence was, he was exposing a strap-on he was wearing and not his actual cock. Well, that's alright then. Surely the stress to the victim, alone on a dark street is the same? Plus, it could give ideas to other pervs on getting away with it, just make sure you keep a dildo in your flat for the police to find. The law really is a ass.

Talking of older computers; I was reminded of this: In 1943 Thomas Watson, chairman of IBM, said, "I think there's a world market for maybe five computers." He got that a bit wrong....

I have been avoiding driving in the dark for 3 years now because of this. I remember these LED lights were causing concerns with the motoring organisations well before that. Why isnt something being done about it? I recall headlights being checked during the MOT in the past, to make sure they didnt dazzle other drivers. -
Good luck. Envy you moving up there.

I've been listening to the 2023 remixes of the red and blue albums. Very worthwhile imo. All the early Beatles LPs and singles were mixed for mono. Stereo versions had that harsh sounding vocals on one side, instruments on the other. That has now been address thanks to the new de-mixing technology. That largely affects the red, 62-66 album. The blue album, 67-70, features a lot of the re mixes made for the 50th anniversary re releases of later albums - with some exceptions. Later singles and Magical Mystery Tour have now had the de-mix/re-mix treatment and in most of the examples it is brilliant, I think. If I had to pick one track as an example, it would be the title song from Mystery Tour. An electric guitar - I assume played by George - was completely absent/ buried in the mix in previous versions but now, it is quite prominent in all its strumming beauty.

Spooky happenings you experience.

Cleaners often have spooky tales to tell. The cleaner at a day centre I used to work in would tell of the time she was going up the small staircase at the rear of the building, when she felt something was behind her. As she glanced down the staircase she felt a slight pull on her hand. She had a cigarette in that hand (smoking in workplaces was allowed back then) and as she looked at it, her fag glowed brighter as though someone was taking a drag. Gulp! -

Out on my bike earlier today and was waiting at the end of a road to turn right. The road was quite busy and as I waited, I noticed a car coming down that was indicating to turn into the street I was leaving. The driver then cut the corner big time. So-much-so, they headed straight for me. Where she was looking goodness knows, has she was about to hit me head on. It was quite a surreal moment as I couldnt believe she couldn't see me and what she was about to do. Fortunately, she was going going slow enough for us both to avoid the head on. She avoided eye contact with me and drove off, as I went to give her a piece of my mind. -
That's good to see. Only thing I would change is where it states 3 months since injury, 6 months since injury and so on. Substitute 'injury' for assault.

Some dark humour too. Reminded me of Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels as well as Snatch.
