  1. Sunderland away 1995. We stopped on the hard shoulder of the A1 next to a field that had cylindrical hay bails. Proceeded to have races pushing them from one side to the other, then left them all in the middle of the field next to each other. Should have got the farmer scratching his head.
  2. What’s really weird is we can leave any time we like but choose not to.
  3. I’d say Ricky P is as good a finisher as we’ve got while JJ is out. He can’t score less than none.
  4. Skipp’s goal was the 21st equaliser in our games this season.
  5. I was at the water polo match at Maine Road in ‘95 when a Mark Robins header gave us our only away win of the season. The club coaches arrived in injury time at the end of the game. It was the same night Cantona did his kung fu kick at Palace.
  6. The other way to look at it is you can’t fail here. No blame attached to failure and plenty of underperforming players to work with.
  7. If it doesn’t work and you can be on hand just redo while he’s at the turnstile.
  8. I didn’t find out for sure but if you get the QR Code it doesn’t seem to change through the week (I laboriously checked) so screenshot it and it should be okay.
  9. Euthanising one of their pets or grandparents would send a strong message to their teammates.
  10. That’s what they said about KDH
  11. I just don’t think he’s that great. We were badly found out in the second half of his season. No KDH, Vardy, Mads or Wilf, and Winks, Mavi, Ricky and Fats have dropped off a mile.
  12. Pleat out was 1990 against Sheffield United and then 1991 against Blackburn which actually worked. There were loads of demonstrations during the Little and McGhee eras and the infamous Sheffield United game under O’Neill. Referring to Pleat and Shipman leaving, it might have been the plane flying over the ground but more likely it was the fire extinguishers flying through the windows of the Belvior Suite.
  13. It barely warrants posting at all
  14. Neither Mahrez or Enzo are at the club to boo them. Hamza says he accidentally liked the tweet, only he knows if that’s true but it wouldn’t be the first time I’ve done that and I dare say I’m not the only one. The COVID thing is clutching at straws for an argument. He shouldn’t have done it and he was rightly disciplined for it. It was in no way a deliberate goading of the club and supporters in the way that Winks’ post, during a game, was.
  15. Hamza hasn’t stuck 2 fingers up to the club and fans in the same way Winks has.
  16. Play it down as much as you like but the insta post was intended to be inflammatory and if you go looking for trouble, don’t complain if you find it.
  17. Standing O from a fair few.
  18. Staggering that some fans were clapping the players at the end.
  19. Today’s date has been kind to us in history….. 1981 A Jim Melrose strike, after Pat Byrne had cancelled out Alan Young’s own goal, saw the Foxes complete a double over Liverpool. It was the first home defeat for the Reds in 2 years and first double in a decade. 1998 Tony Cottee, assisted by comical defending from Gary Neville, scores the only goal against top of the table and defending champions Man Utd at Old Trafford.

  20. 5 up front and BDCR in goal is bold
  21. No it doesn’t, demonstrations were the best part of being a fan in the early/mid 90s and always started on a whim.
  22. Damn right, it’s amazing how everyone who claims to have bet on it did so with the same bookies in the same week.
  23. I go to see Ilkeston Town and Bishop Auckland a few times each season. Both genuinely play with more pride than this shower and for £50 or so an appearance.
  24. Imagine going to work on Monday and being told you’re so shit at your job they’d rather have a child do it.
