Vestergaard won't keep quiet if there is anything going on or if Cooper isn't having him. -

I might be wrong but unusual for Prem to Prem loans having recall options. -

Even if you count it, he's still got less goals and assists than Facundo in a far better team. He's also supposed to be a striker (more of a link man I know). Either way he's not better than Bounanotte. I watched a lot of Rutter last season and he's nowt special but you've got a world beater on your hands in Bounanotte. -
No way was KDH staying, he had to go to comply with PSR.

Bounanotte is already better than Rutter. He's been our best player every game this season, it's extraordinary. 3 goals and 2 assists already in a crap team. Rutter's got 2 goals and 1 assist, his end product has always been mediocre, even at Championship level. -

Looks a superstar in the making but the club will think he's too similar a signing to Kristiansen.
-
Franculino Dju, we needed him in the summer and could have got him for £8-10m. Still need him now.

Bobby De Cordova-Reid joins permanently - Official

He won us that game. His introduction brought a level of co fusion to Southampton that they hadn't thought was there. Can't stop giggling 😂😂😂 -
Did OK today. That spell before half time where he hit the post and threaded a couple of probing balls in to attack were what he's capable of.

Development/Youth Squads 2024/2025 Thread - U18/U21
Ric Flair replied to davieG's topic in Leicester City Forum
Lost in injury time 2-1. The U18s form has dropped right off. No Monga today so wonder if he'll be in the U21s on Monday. -
Desperate for El Khannouss to get a decent performance in and start to fit in. Be nice if we find the balance of defence and attack in a starting line up. El Khannouss presses very well so think he'll be in a front two off the ball with Vardy and look to turn the ball over and feed.

Southampton vs Leicester (A) - October 19th

Cooper's style of play should suit us today. We absolutely hammered them last season due to the players and Enzo seizing the opportunities to massively expose them with a high press and playing direct and counter attacking football. It was so so easy. Whilst it's possible for us to not get the same today, it'll be a huge red flag as this is the perfect team for us to get our first away win of the season and only Cooper's 3rd ever away PL win 😂😂😂😂 Go on Hoops -
The fact he's not even had a single cap yet, despite being in every squad for over a year is a mystery.

I want a bat shit crazy game. 4-3 Leicester. -
Is there anything this man can't do?

There are a few with unremarkable playing careers like Brendan, Potter, Cooper, Howe, McKenna etc
-
Ayew is being played, we are being told, as one winger is to come inside as a 10 which apparently Fatawu or Mavididi can't do. Whilst I'd immediately counter we could set up using both as they like to cut in anyway and defend well for very attacking wingers, even if one has to act as a 10 then that's likely to suit Mavididi much better but it ought to be flexible in games as Kristiansen and Justin alter as well to reflect this.

Managers make mistakes regularly, certainly on team selection. Yes there are certain systems that make certain players unsuited but the irony is both Ricardo and Fatawu are versatile. But even if they weren't, we don't have a strong enough identity that means we have to play one way only. I do wonder if Cooper will alter that eventually to suit the players if that's what needs to happen. Talking of examples of managers getting systems and team selections wrong. Look at Pearson in 2014/15. Didn't play Albrighton for pretty much the first 25-30 games. Didn't play Vardy through the middle either. Add in Drinkwaters sporadic involvement too and it would be fair to say whilst Pearson's far more equipped than fans to judge team selection or tactics, he was getting it wrong. Went 3-4-1-2 and used Albrighton, Drinkwater and Vardy and we clicked. Fatawu not being used alongside Mavididi is just madness. Especially when he's excellent defensively too.- 407 replies

We did press well vs Palace in the 1st half. That's what we need to do relentlessly on Saturday. The team really ought to pick itself based on how much we exposed them last season using direct and counter attacking football. Mavididi Ndidi Fatawu got 6 goals between them and a few assists.
