No, but I guarantee you as soon as it is he starts making sub appearances for them! -
TV interview 😂
-
Wilf would play if asked, the bloke thinks he was fully fit 3 weeks ago.
-
His performance in both games against Leeds has been exceptional.
-
Get well soon pal!

Don't get me wrong, there's not going to be much sympathy as you say. But it's clear we are lacking a genuine rival to Mavididi and Fatawu and in central midfield we are weaker than we were earlier in the season. A loan at the bare minimum was needed, I think we've overspent last summer and are panicking.
-
Sarmiento and Hutchinson are scoring off the bench most weeks for Ipswich at the min, it's a great resource to have. No manager in the world when defending a slender lead is changing systems to go 2 up front. That's our problem, we need subs to come on and see out leads. The requirement to get us back in games has been few and far between but the fact we immediately lose the plot on a number of occasions when we bring on the likes of McAteer is frustrating.
-
I do because he was absolutely seething we failed to recruit in January, his blunt statement that there will be a time and place to talk about that will come back around and it won't be in a place of positivity when it does.
-
I look at our bench compared to our three rivals and bar up front and defence I don't see the tools. I think he needs to tighten us up in close games with subs, rather than going like for like as the replacements for our wingers or midfielders are nowhere near as good. Yunus is the only one who has made an impact off the bench in 2024 (along with Vardy) but he is very reluctant to use him. McAteer has been the pits.

I wonder at what point Enzo points to us not strengthening in January in his press conferences as a factor in our struggles. It's coming.

I think what you're trying to say is that we aren't by far the best team in the league, going to piss it etc that we have been caught up in. It's becoming a bit closer than that and there's a lot still left to get this done. Our 13 wins from the first 14 games should not be dismissed over teams points return in other phases of the season, what we did was incredible. But over the remaining 12 games, there's now a much smaller margin of error than there was and that cannot be underestimated. This club has thrown away massive leads before, it would be no surprise we did it again as there's something so chaotic about us both sublime and ridiculous. However I'm still confident we do it but we aren't the best team this division has ever seen without giving our heads a wobble and improving our mentality and ruthlessness significantly.

QPR have 14 points from their last 7 games, we have a tough game on our hands too.

Development/Youth Squads 2023/2024 Thread - U18/U21

Pleased for Reece Evans, his season has been somewhat of a surprise. Spent the previous 18 months absolutely killing it for our U18s and rather than get promoted to the U21s has spent most of the season on the bench for the U18s. Perhaps there's a reason for it, but on the face of it looks peculiar. -
Who wouldn’t swap places with us in the Championship
Ric Flair replied to young blue's topic in Leicester City Forum
Plenty would swap places with us for our league position but not for our mentality and loss of momentum. We have to arrest this slide and go again. I still believe in them. -
He was excellent, I cannot hack this result. Its cruel.
-
There's a collective lack of ruthlessness, I think that does come from the environment the manager creates. I hope he can change this and encourage, demand and lead our team in to finishing off tight games or games that there's real jeopardy in. To walk away from the two games against Ipswich and Leeds having had them both in thr 3 games absolutely on the ropes and not win 1 of them is galling. I am truly devastated tonight, we were so so good for the majority of the game in everything except finishing. I hope Enzo and players pick themselves up and go and get the 7 wins we may still need to get over the line. The only team that stops us getting promoted is ourselves, which sums us up.
-
We once played Peter Canero in the 10 role away at Leeds.
-
MOTM performance incoming.
-
Late knock / illness then for Vardy otherwise Iheanacho would have travelled wouldn't he? That's the starting XI I wanted, so happy with that.
-
Play for peno's
-
Treat it like a cup final Leicester, the result is very important. Let's not pretend it isn't.
-
Haha there's been a few occasions he's done something distinctly different to the methodical death by passing football.

Ipswich at home there was a big emphasis on the press, we were almost playing an Ajax of the 70's type total football system of players moving around to slot in to ensure the press didn't get disjointed in the 1st half. This was something Enzo evidently felt would trouble Ipswich and it did, they were all over the place 1st half and we should have been in a commanding position of 2 or 3 to the good. The teams that have beaten us this season have managed to make us vulnerable on the counter attack and although I don't expect us to give up possession for the sake of it, the one thing Leeds are vulnerable at is being frustrated and hit themselves. We've got to get their full backs out of position, Mavididi and Fatawu need to be almost faultless as well as our midfield trio standing up to the Leeds counterparts, that was a battle we eventually succumbed to back in October.
-
It was actually a game of nearly chances, the amount of last ditch tackles or clearances from us (mainly Ricardo and Faes) was notable and likewise we created a lot of openings only for a shot to somehow not occur (this can be seen in the high xA we had in that game). Leeds were the better team that night, but it wasn't by much. I'd take another game like that tonight but want to see us be braver and more ruthless and the outcome may well be different.
