  1. It really is all what ifs, buts and maybes. One thing I do know there is now a huge gulf between the Championship and premier league, I would argue with anyone who tries to tell me otherwise. Look at the three teams who are potentially coming up. Leeds definitely had a better team last season than this and they quite comfortably achieved promotion. Burnley, granted they improved their defence this season and it has paid dividends for them. Sheff utd, this a team that like us, was getting beat nearly every week in the premier league stayed at the top of the Championship all season only falling away in the last three weeks. Even, with a squad overhaul and hopefully losing a few big wage earners with our squad, we will comfortably finish in the top six next season. We need to get a striker in who can score goals in the Championship. We will have Nelson and Choudary back from their loan spells. We have a capable goalie in Stolarcyz. Souttar is still a Leicester player. Luton are the anomaly this season, but I genuinely believe our squad, albeit poor in the premier, is still good enough for the Championship. Only thing that could potentially derail us is the efl who come down hard on us re point deductions etc.
  2. Has this game been moved for tv?
  3. I hope these rumours are true and he is off. Another waste of money shocking player.
  4. Was at the game in lower tier jl6. Fanbase brilliant before the game both in Brum and the designated away pub great banter, songs etc. In the ground generally fans themselves have given up. Talking amongst themselves whilst the game is going on, not really caring at all. Even when the wolves fans were singing their bile towards Vardy and his mrs there wasn't really any reaction. Apathy, not even caring or bothering. Same can be said with the so called effort on the pitch by that bunch of over paid hypocrites resembling professional football players. After, getting relegated I thought, wrongly, there would be some fight and passion. How wrong was I. No fight, no effort, no desire no attempts to track a man. WTF do they do at Seagrave in training each week? Vardys pen summed him and our woeful performance up. A tame shot hit low to the keepers right. A schoolboy could have saved it. Please get rid of half that team in the Summer. Faes especially fed up of the curly haired sideshow bob lookalike.
  5. I am hoping he is going to call it a day and retire. Wouldn't want him to play against us for any team. Watching him this season, its sad to see. I fear his legs have gone, can no longer make the runs he once did.
  6. Loved this man too bits through the years, some truly outstanding memorable memories. Shithousery too, all will be missed. Watching him yesterday it was sad to see. He should have retired with grace at the end of last season gone out on an high with promotion. He, was very poor yesterday. It is quite clear his legs have gone. ] How, the club can prevail with an ageing beloved striker I don't know. He does need to retire. If, he is offered another years extension, which he shouldn't be, the board will have truly lost the plot. (With Rudkin you never know though).
  7. I have to be perfectly truthful. I was sat midway up in the East Stand, I could hear a plane flying overhead however, I didn't see it once, not at all. I don't think it flew over the stadium. Admittedly, those walking to the stadium late arrivals etc, may have seen it circling near the stadium. Honestly, though, if it was aimed at the board, Rudkin and Top I believe it may have failed in it's objective. It wasn't even given air time by Sky TV.
  8. Luke Thomas was simply outstanding today. Kept Salah quiet and played well against him. Those saying he didn't bomb forward. Since when, with our playing style has any of our full backs bombed forward? Deserves to stay at the club and be our left full back in the Championship. As long as he keeps the carthorse Justin, out the side I am all for it.
  9. I see the premier league have closed the loophole we used in relation to psr rules. Promoted clubs can now lose even less money equates to 66million per 3 seasons. Wow. Talk about making the premier league a closed shop. Leeds, will struggle with that figure even Sheff Utd, Burnley. No wonder 3 teams come up are the same ones relegated each season. Best league in the world you are having a laugh. Where is the fairness and giving every team a chance?
  10. I and my son thought the same at one point in the game
  11. Going to Belgium with my County football side. Meeting a bird from Nottingham of all places. Losing my virginity on the beaches at La Panne then when I got home about a week later felt like razor blades when I went for a pee. (was in agony). Embarrassingly telling the old man, who took me to the GP. A course of penicillan sorted the issue. Believe me, never again. Old mans wise words were, I told you before you went, don't drink! Don't play cards, and lastly, don't go with dirty women!!
  12. I always thought it was June 30th
  13. Seriously? A local home grown lad, playing well for his club. Nowt wrong with clapping anyone, especially Barnes who didn't leave for the dollar. He came over our end to take a corner he got clapped by most people. He, in turn clapped back.
  14. I was astounded when I found out he has one cap for England. Who on earth, thought that was a good idea. I played in his position some years ago to a high level. He is totally out of his depth. Regularly, is out of position. Constantly wanders into the middle of the pitch leaving his side wide open. Can't tackle, can't pass. Collectively with Christensen we have the worst full backs in the premier league. Both need to go at the end of the season.
  15. That's why he hasn't played they are looking for a world renowed surgeon to get that huge boil removed from his forehead. I like the way they have painted lines on it to resemble a football very clever.
  16. What truly baffles me is the way we play. We get a free kick in our half near the half way line. Instead of putting players up towards the edge of the opponents penalty area and then pumping the ball forwards in order to at least try and score, all we do is pass it backwards to the centreback who in turn passes it back to the keeper it's then a process of passing it sideways and backwards amongst the defenders in our final third of the pitch. It literally is wash, recycle, rinse and repeat. We show no attacking intent at all. We stand off opposition defenders and let them pass at will. There is always a huge gap from our only forward in Vardy (love the bloke but seriously, he now needs to gracefully retire). and the midfield, who also when receiving the ball instead of passing forwards turn and pass it back. As has shown playing this way, gets us nowhere. We are not very good at it either. We have a number of very poor players, who unfortunately we will still be stuck with next season. (honestly, who would want them). As has been alluded to they are on huge wages and they would rather run their contracts down with us than go to someone else? Something has to give. RVN has to go, there has to be material change for the good of the club.
  17. Forest will do their normal as every round in the fa cup this season. Play for the 0 0 draw and hope to beat City on penalties.
  18. Their fans are deluded. They have been fortunate this season with lots of decisions. Lady luck is definitely on their side.
  19. How spawny in all honesty and lucky are bloody Forest. Last 3 rounds scraped through on penalties. They are going to be the first team in history to win it without technically winning a bloody game. Penalty shoot outs don't bloody count. Jammy buggers.
  20. It was reported by a Zambian reporter and the Zambian team manager actually mentioned it as well. You are well advised re visas so I will appreciate your knowledge on the subject, I was just reporting what other outlets were saying.
  21. I'd actually forgotten what's it like?
  22. Further proof our club is badly run.......Apparently his work permit has run out hence his omission from his International side. Alledgedly, he has to stay in the UK in order to get it sorted. You, seriously can't make this shite up....................
  23. I am so fed up of picking up Vestergaards dog poop either him or the dog has to go
  24. Problem is Jordan frigging Ayew is no Paolo Maldini...............not fit to lace his boots springs to mind.
