Andy King to leave at the end of the season
eblair replied to Trumpet's topic in Leicester City Forum
that warmed my heart, love them both, proper legends -
None that stat literally accounts for likelihood of a shot being a goal, not a perfect stat but is relatively useful
-
well he is not kasper well higher on actuals goals relative to xG https://fbref.com/en/comps/9/3232/keepersadv/2019-2020-Premier-League-Stats

kasper 100% better than pope, non debate. kasper gets a lot of stick for his feet from leicester fans but very unwarranted, think all keepers who try passes miss a few, just we only watch kasper religiously each week think goalkeeeping biggest position where watching your own keeper each week really exaggerates their weaknesses relative to other; bloke is a leicester legend who hopefully will get into top 10 for most apps of all time

never seen that chilwell thing before
-
so funny we used to talk about top 6 of the championship, mad how much we have grown as a football club
-
love wilfred
-
flip them around, 24m euros around 18m pounds
-
love lloyd, why didn't he just sign with us in the prem for one year, feel like as a club we probably owed him a 2-year contract though
-
always remember how fondly he spoke about pearson year we won the champ; he said something about pearson's being manager than listened to his input the most assume all manager's after that gradually got less keen to listen to him

how do internationals work in countries players need to isolate if they come back from?

First favourite LCFC player/ first memory of watching lcfc
eblair replied to lcfcbluearmy's topic in Leicester City Forum
Player - Dickov then next is hume First memory - villa at home at filbert street (crouch played as a very young kid, and dad told me piper would play for england one day) -
when pearson 3.0 happens you might need to jog on to coventry
-
so true this, always compared all of them to NP and just think would much rather be hearing from him than anyone we have had since

Andy King to leave at the end of the season
eblair replied to Trumpet's topic in Leicester City Forum
you're just a wrong'un -
disagree cos hate forest, but only just started to notice the media big 6 stuff the arsenal love in when we played them was ridic especially when we are miles above them in the league, felt like listening to AFTV
-
just watched this again... and i just miss him being my manager loved him as our manager, love the post-match interviews when he attacked referees and had the incandescent rage. also think he is way more interesting to listen to on life and everything than BR obvious BR is probably a better manager, but cannot stop the love i have for the man who made me enjoy watching play for football for first time in my life
-
this is just stupid he is england's starting left back, he was class for us after the restart the other two left backs who have played for us in lockdown clearly no where near his level He is made to look worse that he actually is, cos Ricardo is playing RB and he is one of the best in world in his position. Chilwell is one of the top 4 left backs in the league, the reason we have toppled out the top 4 is we have too many players starting who are not in their positions. So maybe lay off the kid who has been here since he was 14 and is a player whose ability matches our ambition
-
wtf did chilwell do to leicester fans, he is clearly one of best left backs in the league and an academy kid why is there a vendetta against him, we all knew he was meant to be class coming through the academy i dont understand what he has done, sometimes he plays the wrong ball? leicester fans are so bonkers about him

Is anyone else frustrated by the lack that Brendan kicks off with refereeing decisions to the point where it is possibly affecting us adversely in terms of the decisions we are getting. When we played Arsenal, Arterta manager to divert all the media attention away from Nketiah onto a fairly obvious innocuous moment involving Vardy. Whereas time and time again we have had stinkers on VAR, and I really do not think we make enough of a deal of it as a club. There was no discussion about Inheancho's goal being ruled out for little reason, barely a replay shown. Even yesterday I think Barnes should have had a penalty on VAR, I do not understand why the players do not appeal for it and Brendan does not make a meal of it the media. I think it would affect future VAR decisions if we kick off more of a fuss, and help build siege mentality we have been missing recently. Maybe have over-egged how much bigger clubs actually make fuss about refereeing decisions and the focus on their decisions is just Sky bias, but lack of focus there has been on stinkers we have got it a joke.

Okazaki interviews, comments and pictures from the Japanese media
eblair replied to kushiro's topic in Leicester City Forum
only just read all these diary posts and they are incredible reading this one, i really want to know did he ever write anything about the fans? i.e. did he realise how much he was appreciated not just by team mates but an entire city, where he now has immortal status -
kasper easily most under appreciated player by our own fans, but think that is fairly typical for a keeper and no slight on our fans. very rarely makes mistakes and very often wins us points gonna end up being one of most capped leicester players of all time as well
-
throwing your toys out because you're not being played is very different from demanding to leave as the star player; don't think any fan will begrudge a player for forcing a move to play football, especially if not to a team that beats us all the bleedin time
