  1. I really hope this isn’t a carbon copy of the game at Ashton Gate earlier in the season. 2-0 up at half time and looking comfortable only to throw away the two goal lead in the 2nd half. Really hope we don’t sit back for the entirety of this half.
  2. Definitely looks like a 27/28k crowd tonight
  3. The more I see that starting XI the more angry and pissed off i get. This is a must win game and he decides to leave Mukasa who has been full of goal involvements since he came into the side and chosen a completely out of form Bobby Reid and then just as Daka scores a good goal and his confidence will be up he decides to drop him in favour of a bloke who is slow as feck, immobile and has checked out of the club. Absolutely honking and now to add insult to injury Aluko joins Page in disappearing from the matchday squad. Unfortunately this was always my fear, Cooper Mk 2.
  4. Massive red flag for me tonight, how he can select BDCR ahead of Mukasa who has looked top quality since joining. Also to drop Daka off the back of scoring to be replaced by Ayew is absolute madness.
  5. ‘Shoot the Rudkin’ To the tune of ‘Shoot the Runner’ by Kasabian Shoot the Rudkin… shoot, shoot the Rudkin… Shoot the Rudkin… shoot, shoot the Rudkin… From kings of England, top of the hill, Now it’s transfer windows giving us chills, Wrong gaffer in and the wrong lads bought, Another rebuild nobody sought. Shoot the Rudkin… shoot, shoot the Rudkin… Shoot the Rudkin… shoot, shoot the Rudkin… Harry Winks having a strop — had to be dropped, Hands in the air when the tempo’s stopped, Jordan Ayew jogging round like it’s Sunday league, Still waiting for that burst of speed… Shoot the Rudkin… shoot, shoot the Rudkin… Shoot the Rudkin… shoot, shoot the Rudkin… Jannik Vestergaard and Wout Faes at the back again, Our defensive pain in the ass my friend, Ball in the box and the crowd all sigh, “Please not another one drifting by…” Shoot the Rudkin… shoot, shoot the Rudkin… Shoot the Rudkin… shoot, shoot the Rudkin… Boubakary Soumaré and Patson Daka — what can we say? Watch your head if you’re sat row Z today, Chance on goal and the crowd all ducks, Another rocket headed for the trucks… Shoot the Rudkin… shoot, shoot the Rudkin… Shoot the Rudkin… shoot, shoot the Rudkin… Points deductions knocking at the door, Another charge sheet, maybe more, We’re counting losses week by week, While League One fixtures start to peek… Shoot the Rudkin… shoot, shoot the Rudkin… Another “internal review” announced, Same old faces still renounced, Another promotion, same old crew, Funny how the blame avoids you… Shoot the Rudkin… shoot, shoot the Rudkin… Jobs for the boys, self-preservation, Corporate spin and hesitation, No one steering, no one care — While League One waits just over there… Shoot the Rudkin… shoot, shoot the Rudkin… Shoot the Rudkin… shoot, shoot the Rudkin…
  6. Absolutely superb work 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
  7. Leicester City: The Adidas deal is estimated at approximately £3 million per season. This figure reflects a significant increase from their previous Puma deal, which was worth roughly £1 million annually. The partnership has been in place since 2018 and was recently extended to cover the 2025/26 season. SportsPro +6
  8. I like the look of that side Ric I would swap Mukasa for Reid and have Mavididi on the left.
  9. I have done a bit of digging and research and in my post I did write I believe rather than state it as 100% fact. Now it could be our upfront payment is lower but we recieve a higher % of sales but then you would have to question whether the best option is to then stick an obscure Asian betting company as your front of shirt sponsor. Personally I would love to see us part ways with Adidas and team up with someone like Kappa, Puma, Umbro or Hummel who’s kits are far better and nicer than the template muck we have had with Adidas. If we wanted to be really retro Admiral are making a comeback next season with Burton Albion.
  10. Thought you were excellent on the pod and great episode as always. Henry Winter was top class 👏🏼👏🏼
  11. Agreed and I believe our deal with Adidas is worth circa £4m per season when we were a premier league club and yet Forests is worth £6m.
  12. Cracking article, how we need a Martin George type of chairman and a Brian Little type of manager to get a grip of this club and turn the tide.
  13. Wonder if he comes back to help lead us out of league one ….
  14. In no particular order for me but Winks, Mavididi and Ayew all 3 could and should be smashing this league and all 3 have basically downed tools in one way or another
  15. We really need 12 points from those 6 games
  16. Decent result would have taken that before kick off but that 2nd half we literally just sat back and let it become defence vs attack. The lack of ambition to try and take games by the scruff of the neck, kill it off and win games could be what relegates us, criminal that we are unable to close games out at this level. Mentality is absolutely honking.
  17. Really not sure what we gained from sacking Marti, back to square one with same old mob starting, thoroughly underwhelming.
  18. Honking line up, full of the usual suspects how the hell does Bobby Reid start ahead of Mukasa and no Monga or Page on the bench, horrible horrible selection Gary 0-2 away win incoming 😂😂
  19. I am 52 years old, for 47 years Leicester City has been a fundamental part of my life, there have been the highest of highs and some real low points, I love Leicester City Football Club, I hate it has been allowed to become a vehicle to promote King Power. slowly but surely Leicester City is losing its identity, it feels like a franchise now, KPFC who wear blue and play in Leicester but the history of the club and character of the club is vanishing, very little reference is made to anyone or anything that pre dates the KP era. The soul of the club is slowly eroding away and being replaced with customers who accept and enable a hierarchy to make more and more ill informed decisions that not only creates a further divide with its fanbase but also has taken the club to the brink of league 1, financial meltdown and possible administration. it is absolutely soul destroying 🥲
  20. Nail on head pal 👏🏼 look at last week so many posts on social media defending the ownership and condemning the protests. At what stage do these people wake up and realise what is happening. This isn’t just a relegation to league 1 that will be a jolly for 12 months, our club is on life support at the moment and a relegation means that machine will be switched off. Admin and possible liquidation is not out of the question, not withstanding the countless hard working people who will lose their jobs and the damage it will do to the local economy in general. The club is saddled with debt and massive costs anyone who cannot understand that losing the best part of £200m over 3 years in any business environment is going to end up in deep financial 💩 if you cannot recognise this then you are delusional.
  21. Ashley runs a very tight ship, at times it might be very frustrating and perception that we aren’t investing sufficiently in the playing squad, but rest assured we would not be in the position we find ourselves in now.
  22. Should just leave well alone, the current set up is just about right, this change further weakens the quality of the play offs and you run the risk of a team finishing a mile off and being closer to relegation than promotion having a decent run of form in a short form tournament and ending up promoted. All in all it just weakens the overall integrity of the competition and the quality of the premier league as you could end up with some right old muck getting promoted.
  23. Given his contract renewed after 1 season it’s likely that the book value left will have been reamortised over the remaining 3 seasons of the newly extended contract. By my rough calcs £10m / 3 would be £3.33m of amortisation each year so after year one £6.67m would be left, he signs new 1 year extension so that is reamortised over 3 seasons which leaves just over £2.22m per season.
  24. The only saving grace is his book value will be about £2.5m in the summer so just got to hope somebody sees it as a relatively risk free transfer and we can cover his book value and get his wages off the books.
