Awful game devoid of quality and when you consider how many of our starting XI have genuine premier league experience just goes to show how appalling the drop of in standards and culture. Any semblance of professionalism and desire and this squad should have been top 6 even with a deduction.

Glad to see he has changed shape and gone with 4-2-3-1 for a bit of difference š¤£

Relegation, League 1, financial implications

I think Forest are looking to upgrade their existing training facilities, so a year of renting Seagrave could work for all parties, they get a state of the art facility for 12 months whilst developing their own and we get some cash and remove the cost burden for 12 months whilst trying to win promotion back to the championship. -

The whole point of this isnāt about getting a pay off or a testimonial or Smithies getting decent wedge for being 3rd choice, itās about the complete lack of sympathy or any emotion towards one of your players coming to you to say they are having to retire. if nothing else it shows that Rudkin demonstrates zero duty of care or quite frankly gives one shit about the players welfare. It has been highlighted because for years we were branded a special club and a family and now it couldnāt be further from the truth. This is just another very good example of the drop in culture and standards that has contributed to such a massive decline in our fortunes. -

Another bump of this thread as itās really important to keep pushing the great work of the trust especially as the fan survey is about to be launched, please keep an eye out and for any non members please take the time to complete the survey and take the opportunity to sign up to the trust #Ourclubourvoice -
Possibly but I think usually an NDA is negotiated as part of a settlement, we will pay you £x and an NDA is drafted and signed to accompany any severance preventing any disclosure about their departure and any other confidential information either party wishes to remain outside of the public domain
-
I think as soon as we are officially relegated he will walk, given his short term contract hopefully he will politely decline to sign an NDA and forego a very small pay off and come out all bins blazing about what an absolute circus and clown show the club is.

Alex Smithies posted this in his LinkedIn page today about the day he retired and how he was treated by our wonderful club and especially the DoF speaks volumes ā¦ā¦. āHow much do you want?ā In December 2023, I went to London to see my knee surgeon. I walked into that appointment as a footballer and walked out knowing it was over. The surgeon told me I needed to retire immediately. My knee was no longer compatible with professional sport. The next day, I sat down with the Director of Football at my club. I told him Iād been playing since I was 6⦠and now it was over. His response? āOkay⦠so how much do you want?ā No empathy. No conversation. Just business. I left the training ground expecting a call from the manager. A message. Something. Iām still waiting. And just like that⦠it was done. On my own.

It isnāt just about PSR, the far bigger risk with relegation and the massive drop in revenue will be cash flow and our ability to stay solvent without very very significant cash support from Aiyawatt/KP -

Bumping again, given last nightās result has made it even more likely we will spend at least next season in league one, please have a read of the article in the OP. If you are not already a member of the Foxes Trust, then please sign up today it costs just Ā£5 for a year. This is your chance and opportunity to have your voice heard. In what is sure to be challenging times for the club itās important we continue to grow in strength and hold the club to account and challenge where necessary. This is our club and we can only make it better by having a voice that represents a large proportion of the fanbase. -

Best bit is we need to massively reduce costs and yet as part of our ārestructureā or rearranging of the deck chairs on the Titanic we managed to appoint a new DoF to report directly into a promoted Rudkin who reports direct to Top ā¦.sp effectively all one to one reporting lines, brilliant strategy and efficient use of resources and budget ā¦ā¦ā¦. Oh and Monica kept on as MD to report to CEO who reports direct to Aiyawatt, fecking unbelievable doubling down on keeping your mates in place and creating additional buffers. Club literally burning money on dross whilst most likely having to savagely cut jobs of good hard working people with the club at heart -
Danny Ornerod -19 year old forward has scored 28 goals in National League North for Fylde. We need at least 2 if not 3 strikers and think he would be a great low risk option with a high ceiling and sell on opportunity

The squad has more than enough talent to be competitive at this level, however there is a clear lack of any standards and the culture of the club is on its arse. The directive to play this mundane pedestrian football is really hampering the club, it worked under Enzo as he was an excellent coach and overall found a balance and style that whilst not perfect was enough to get us over the line, then in came Cooper and working under a similar directive was found massively lacking and as a result we looked undercooked, under prepared and a bit of a mess. Ruud came in and I think his biggest problem was he came in and immediately identified the issues but clearly didnāt get the support from above to sort out the trouble makers and piss poor culture so after a couple of promising games it seemed to unravel very quickly and it felt like Ruud was undermined and completely ineffective. Sadly from there the collapse and demise has been so severe, I donāt believe many of the squad respect or believe in the āprojectā and have become so disillusioned hence the woeful displays and lack of any heart and desire. Our problems arenāt the quality of players, itās application, hunger and culture. All characteristics that should be driven from the owners and directors which give the manager or head coach the structure to create a culture of professionalism and the highest standards and expectations. Currently the owner and his directors are obsessed with us playing like Man Cityā¦ā¦.imagine how that transposes down to the players who will know that is not possible, I am not defending the squad but how demoralising and toxic must it be to be told how to play when you know itās not sustainable, you are being coached by mediocrity such as Cooper, Cifuentes and Rowett and itās continuing to manifest in poor performances and results and will likely see us relegated to league one. As a player or coach you can have little respect for anyone who is influencing or instructing you to play a certain way or in a certain formation when itās clearly deluded, and not working, it gives the impression of someone who is detached from reality and that will drive a massive drop off in standards and culture. Itās easy to see why it has become so toxic.
-
Rudkin facilitates what Aiyawatt wants to happen, itās as simple as that, he isnāt strong enough or brave enough to speak up or speak out that we need to change direction. He just keeps saying yes and carrying on aiding and abetting the demise and destruction of a club he is supposedly a supporter of. At what stage do you say enough is enough and either stand up for what is right or accept you are nothing more than a facilitator to the owners very own real life game of football manager. Any DoF worth his salt would have told Aiyawatt this is not sustainable instead he has just cracked on carrying out his wishes to his incompetent best.
-
My view would be protest after the game outside the ground, the media will pick up on that a lot and it will gain far more attention and focus than anything beforehand.
-
She wasnāt perfect and like anyone in that level of role she will have made poor decisions and mistakes. However I do also think she was fighting a losing battle and that she stayed as long as she did out of loyalty to the family in the hope a certain someone would wake up smell the coffee and realise he had backed the wrong horse and somehow they could start the long hard road back ā¦.it never happened and then the return of BC Game was the final straw and she walked before she was pushed and lost any semblance of remaining dignity.
-
The players wonāt listen, they are ingrained in how they want to play ā¦.. what a load of shite, most have come from other clubs playing differing styles, formations etc so donāt believe for one second, they wouldnāt be adaptable especially when the āchosenā way is producing defeat after draw after defeat. if they aint listening why pick them, why bin off every young player to favour experience if none were buying into your messages Gary? Why not change formation, try different personnel then. He knows he is a dead man walking and is getting his narrative out there before he leaves today under his NDA.

LCFC 0-1 Swansea, post-match thread
Claudio Fannieri replied to Phil Mitchell's topic in Leicester City Forum
I can still barely believe that goal we conceded and yet in the same way I absolutely can. Too concede in that manor at any level is a disgrace but given our circumstances and the magnitude of our current circumstances for not one player to put their body on the line, make a tactical foul high up the pitch or make a lunge busting run to prevent the goal is an absolute disgrace. However it also highlights exactly why we are where we are, a complete lack of heart, desire, athleticism and most of all a complete lack of game management or intelligence. The players just donāt care enough and the management team are unable to raise and maintain the required standards and culture whether that is through their own failings or because they are not given the required backing and support from above. Either way that goal epitomised everything wrong at the club in one 17 second snapshot. Absolute disgrace and truly horrific. -
I think abusing him in front of his baby daughter is crossing a line. However I will revert back to what I said after the PNE defeat in the 2nd game of the season that he was a disgrace, had checked out and should never play for the club again. Time and time again this season he has downed tools in games. I really hope we never have to see him in a LCFC shirt ever again. Play 2 high 8ās and get him as far away from the match day squad as possible.
-
The goal we conceded epitomised the season for me, not one of the those players āchasing backā put their body on the line nor did any of them just take the yellow by making a tactical foul high up the pitch. As for Rowett, whilst he is far down the list of people at fault for this seasons absolute shit show, he is not absolved of any wrongdoing for what has been a fairly disastrous 10 game run of results. In a run of 6 very winnable games against either mid table mediocrity, teams on the beach or the very worst team in the history of the championship we have won once. He has laid the blame at the door of the players, whom most I cannot abide, however he has been guilty of a few things himself - - alienating most of the younger players - benched Mukasa when he was in great form of the back of one poor performance - ā won vs Bristol City with a 4-3-3 then decided to revert back to Winks and the same old 4-2-3-1 which has failed for most of this season - put his faith in the old guard, tried and tested players who have continually let this club down. He has shown a complete lack of any bollocks to change anything. He had a 14 game free hit to come in and change it up get a reaction and even 3 or 4 wins from a run of very winnable games would have made a marked improvement and yet he has changed very little and ended up with equally poor results as his predecessors.

They are probably move bothered you are another one ringing up to cancel so darenāt answer the call š
-
Because the Millwall manager will not be on a shit load of wedge and he lives in the North West so think a move to us, on reasonable wages and much closer to his family and home might be attractive plus if Millwall donāt go up this season I think they end up mid table at best next season as they will be pillaged for their best players.
-
So itās final Top, Rudkinās and Kevinās contribution to this season has been -6 points excellent work, and 2 have been rewarded with promotions, not withstanding a further Ā£70m loss last season and the potential of a further relegation awaits
