Anyone hoping for Martin O’Neill to return I am afraid that dream has ended, he is back at Celtic until the end of the season -
Personally tend to agree with others who think this was thrown out there to deflect criticism at the time especially when it had got pretty personal. However if it was indeed true then I sincerely hope Aiyawatt and Rudkin have eaten some very large helpings of humble pie and health permitting speaking with Nigel Pearson to come in as Technical Director with full autonomy to completely overhaul the recruitment, scouting, analytics and sports science departments of the club. Won’t happen but if they are serious about resetting then big Nige should be the number 1 target.

Would be great if we did go down this route but given the past history I very much doubt if Aiyawatt and Rudkin have ever heard of him, let alone have then on their radar. -

Strange one would love to have seen Aluko and Page starting but in same way kind of feels like Marti is clinging on so a repeat of Sheffield United probably sees him off. Never want to see us lose but might be the best outcome longer term …. -
Of course it is, whilst in terms of revenue it’s dwarfed by TV revenue etc, matchday revenue is critical for cash flow and managing and most importantly being able to pay for day to day running costs. Continued reduction in gate receipts and associated spend on food, drink and merch whilst not having a big impact on PSR it will hurt the club when it comes to meeting payment obligations to staff, suppliers and HMRC

It’s Rudkin’s or Anthony’s burner account. A certain other person has been throwing out clown emojis left, right and centre as well today 🤡😂
-
It still pans to the Kop and Family stands and too be fair even the West Stand has had a fair few empty seats these last few home games
-
It really doesn’t matter what the club report, it is on telly if there are rafts of empty seats it will be there for all to see
-
Has he joined the boycott 😂😂
-
Has there been in much in the way of attention or focus from any of the main LCFC social media reporters such as Percy, Collomose, Tanner, Henry Winter etc etc?

Another one bites the dust 😂 -
The whole club is on the up, innovative sponsorship deal with Spud Bros, made raised social media exposure, shirt sales through the roof, some clever recruitment and increasing crowds this season has shown what can be achieved if a club comes together and makes good sound decisions. Well coached, well organised and everyone playing for the badge. Given the difference in budgets and playing squad it is absolutely shameful they are 9 points ahead of us, granted we have a game in hand.

This regime have previous for leading managers up the garden path in relation to transfer funds etc so wouldn’t be shocked if that has now extended to telling porkies to the fanbase to deflect pressure away from themselves.

I couldn’t agree more however you would think Ruud fitted that bill but half of the mardy arse players went snivelling to Top and Rudkin and he was also out on his ear sharpish. I agree we need a real disciplinarian in to get the culture right but to do that he has to have the full backing off the owner and DoF otherwise they are pissing in the wind. Problem we have is the players know all they have to do is down tools or whinge to Top and Rudkin, manager thrown under the bus, rinse and repeat regardless of whether the manager is a ‘nice guy’ which leads to it becoming a holiday camp or if a manager comes in and stamps his authority on the club and squad then it backfires as the little darlings then kick off in the background to the owner and he is undermined. Top and bottom of it is until the owner gives the manager total autonomy and authority to kick this overpaid rabble into some sort of shape we will continue to see this cycle of continually changing under performing managers. -
I am not saying there are more lucrative sponsorships to be had however what I am saying is very much like our on field recruitment, our sponsorship deals have been lazy and uninspiring, solely looking at the here and now with the sole purpose of diluting the rank bad decision making that has blighted the last 5 seasons or so. I am talking about more creative routes of sponsorship that may not deliver the same as current sponsorship but by being more innovative creates additional revenue through other sources. we have to cut our cloth accordingly now so that means our commercial operations need to be top drawer, relying on Crypto/betting companies from Asia is not sustainable and from a PR perspective has been a massive own goal with the fanbase.

I am not even sure this new Technical Director, CEO or Commercial Director will ever be appointed, in the last month we have deferred payment of early December payroll for Christmas and then the debacle with the stewards food voucher…suggests we have immediate cash flow challenges so do we really have the budget to bring in 3 big hitters. IMO the hiring of the interim MD another KP yes person will be the only change. The current structure will remain in place and Top & Rudkin will continue to run the club into the ground completely unopposed or unchallenged.

I have supported us for over 45 years and I have seen us at our lowest ebb and I have also experienced our highest highs over the last 10 years however that does not mean that this current decline and the direction of travel it is heading should be accepted or justified just because of our previous history. Make no mistake the level of incompetence, the lack of accountability, the lack of responsibility towards the club to have taken us from where we were to where we are heading, the potential ramifications and consequences of this decision making is completely unacceptable and unforgivable. We have been in administration before. it is horrible, good people losing their jobs, local businesses/suppliers not getting paid, the fear we could genuinely cease to exist or the worry as to who would save us. Here we are now after being in a superb position and an excellent business model now with it all in tatters, we sit in the bottom half of the championship with a squad of very overpaid players, a bang average manager who is managing to make us worse than the sum of our parts and in financial meltdown, whilst the owner is conspicuous in his absence and his partner in crime has been given a new role/promotion to further protect him and reward him for his part in destroying our club from the inside. This is hurting me more because I know and can see what a disgusting fall from grace this has been, how anyone who supports our club can just shrug their shoulders and accept this or worse still defend what has happened is absolutely beyond me.

Even if we move on the likes of Winks & Faes and what happens if we receive a great offer for Fatawu? Personally it will be a case of one out and maybe one in. Currently Carranza if the only one gone so far so Antonio likely to come in his place.
-
I completely appreciate it would be much more complex than the basic idea I have posted, it was just for illustration as to how we could be more creative to find ways of generating commercial revenue without pissing off the majority of our fanbase which is what we have managed to do for the last 4/5 years with the one year exception when KP returned for a season.

Celtic fans demonstrating against the board outside the ground after the Rangers game, maybe something to consider especially before or after a TV game would certainly gain media attention
-
Agree but there is more to it in terms of creating a positive environment and atmosphere, each time we announce another crypto/betting sponsor the detachment from the club just continues to grow. imagine if the club could do a deal for Kasabian to be front of shirt sponsor and perhaps include a Kasabian influenced away or 3rd kit, and as part of the deal they do a number of sell out gigs at the KP which they and the club take a split of the profits. Honestly think this would generate similar to what BC Game pay but create a very different atmosphere across the club.
