The squad has more than enough talent to be competitive at this level, however there is a clear lack of any standards and the culture of the club is on its arse. The directive to play this mundane pedestrian football is really hampering the club, it worked under Enzo as he was an excellent coach and overall found a balance and style that whilst not perfect was enough to get us over the line, then in came Cooper and working under a similar directive was found massively lacking and as a result we looked undercooked, under prepared and a bit of a mess. Ruud came in and I think his biggest problem was he came in and immediately identified the issues but clearly didn’t get the support from above to sort out the trouble makers and piss poor culture so after a couple of promising games it seemed to unravel very quickly and it felt like Ruud was undermined and completely ineffective. Sadly from there the collapse and demise has been so severe, I don’t believe many of the squad respect or believe in the ‘project’ and have become so disillusioned hence the woeful displays and lack of any heart and desire. Our problems aren’t the quality of players, it’s application, hunger and culture. All characteristics that should be driven from the owners and directors which give the manager or head coach the structure to create a culture of professionalism and the highest standards and expectations. Currently the owner and his directors are obsessed with us playing like Man City…….imagine how that transposes down to the players who will know that is not possible, I am not defending the squad but how demoralising and toxic must it be to be told how to play when you know it’s not sustainable, you are being coached by mediocrity such as Cooper, Cifuentes and Rowett and it’s continuing to manifest in poor performances and results and will likely see us relegated to league one. As a player or coach you can have little respect for anyone who is influencing or instructing you to play a certain way or in a certain formation when it’s clearly deluded, and not working, it gives the impression of someone who is detached from reality and that will drive a massive drop off in standards and culture. It’s easy to see why it has become so toxic.

Rudkin facilitates what Aiyawatt wants to happen, it’s as simple as that, he isn’t strong enough or brave enough to speak up or speak out that we need to change direction. He just keeps saying yes and carrying on aiding and abetting the demise and destruction of a club he is supposedly a supporter of. At what stage do you say enough is enough and either stand up for what is right or accept you are nothing more than a facilitator to the owners very own real life game of football manager. Any DoF worth his salt would have told Aiyawatt this is not sustainable instead he has just cracked on carrying out his wishes to his incompetent best.

My view would be protest after the game outside the ground, the media will pick up on that a lot and it will gain far more attention and focus than anything beforehand.

She wasn’t perfect and like anyone in that level of role she will have made poor decisions and mistakes. However I do also think she was fighting a losing battle and that she stayed as long as she did out of loyalty to the family in the hope a certain someone would wake up smell the coffee and realise he had backed the wrong horse and somehow they could start the long hard road back ….it never happened and then the return of BC Game was the final straw and she walked before she was pushed and lost any semblance of remaining dignity.
-
The players won’t listen, they are ingrained in how they want to play ….. what a load of shite, most have come from other clubs playing differing styles, formations etc so don’t believe for one second, they wouldn’t be adaptable especially when the ‘chosen’ way is producing defeat after draw after defeat. if they aint listening why pick them, why bin off every young player to favour experience if none were buying into your messages Gary? Why not change formation, try different personnel then. He knows he is a dead man walking and is getting his narrative out there before he leaves today under his NDA.

LCFC 0-1 Swansea, post-match thread
Claudio Fannieri replied to Phil Mitchell's topic in Leicester City Forum
I can still barely believe that goal we conceded and yet in the same way I absolutely can. Too concede in that manor at any level is a disgrace but given our circumstances and the magnitude of our current circumstances for not one player to put their body on the line, make a tactical foul high up the pitch or make a lunge busting run to prevent the goal is an absolute disgrace. However it also highlights exactly why we are where we are, a complete lack of heart, desire, athleticism and most of all a complete lack of game management or intelligence. The players just don’t care enough and the management team are unable to raise and maintain the required standards and culture whether that is through their own failings or because they are not given the required backing and support from above. Either way that goal epitomised everything wrong at the club in one 17 second snapshot. Absolute disgrace and truly horrific. -
I think abusing him in front of his baby daughter is crossing a line. However I will revert back to what I said after the PNE defeat in the 2nd game of the season that he was a disgrace, had checked out and should never play for the club again. Time and time again this season he has downed tools in games. I really hope we never have to see him in a LCFC shirt ever again. Play 2 high 8’s and get him as far away from the match day squad as possible.

The goal we conceded epitomised the season for me, not one of the those players ‘chasing back’ put their body on the line nor did any of them just take the yellow by making a tactical foul high up the pitch. As for Rowett, whilst he is far down the list of people at fault for this seasons absolute shit show, he is not absolved of any wrongdoing for what has been a fairly disastrous 10 game run of results. In a run of 6 very winnable games against either mid table mediocrity, teams on the beach or the very worst team in the history of the championship we have won once. He has laid the blame at the door of the players, whom most I cannot abide, however he has been guilty of a few things himself - - alienating most of the younger players - benched Mukasa when he was in great form of the back of one poor performance - won vs Bristol City with a 4-3-3 then decided to revert back to Winks and the same old 4-2-3-1 which has failed for most of this season - put his faith in the old guard, tried and tested players who have continually let this club down. He has shown a complete lack of any bollocks to change anything. He had a 14 game free hit to come in and change it up get a reaction and even 3 or 4 wins from a run of very winnable games would have made a marked improvement and yet he has changed very little and ended up with equally poor results as his predecessors.

They are probably move bothered you are another one ringing up to cancel so daren’t answer the call 😂
-
Because the Millwall manager will not be on a shit load of wedge and he lives in the North West so think a move to us, on reasonable wages and much closer to his family and home might be attractive plus if Millwall don’t go up this season I think they end up mid table at best next season as they will be pillaged for their best players.
-
So it’s final Top, Rudkin’s and Kevin’s contribution to this season has been -6 points excellent work, and 2 have been rewarded with promotions, not withstanding a further £70m loss last season and the potential of a further relegation awaits

I would go for Wellens or Fuchs if we wanted someone with a Leicester connection, if Millwall don’t go up I would be also looking at Alex Neill.
-
Same could be said for the majority of the premier league clubs, our losses in the premier league far outweigh what we lost in the championship
-
Or the ownership and Director of Football Operations (or whatever title he goes by now) stops pandering to these players and finally back a manager to sort the culture and standards out. RVN called it out last year pretty early on and did at least prepared to take the players head on but a mix of poor results and weakness from the board, meant he was sacked. In hindsight had he been given this season I am not sure we would be struggling to stay up.

Swansea (H) Sat 11th April 3pm protest??
Claudio Fannieri replied to 1884HF's topic in Leicester City Forum
It absolutely boils my piss when people justify clapping the players off, after a performance like the last two, as being a real fan ….no you are not you are complicit and enabling of the massive drop off in standards and culture at the club and the level of acceptance of our demise. if you are a real fan then this current situation and our potential fall into league one and financial meltdown should be making you angry, sad, worried and extremely frustrated, not happily clapping this muck week in week out -
Just out of interest I wonder bow much we paid in settlements to sack Cooper, RVN and Cifuentes and their respective coaching teams, I bet it dwarfs any amount we would have had to pay out to secure a decent manager like Corberan, Rohl or Muslic and yet we shouldn’t say a word, we should just clap and be grateful for the good times.
-
We also could have got Rohl or Muslic instead of Cifuentes but we always go for cheap out of work options and then pay out more in pay offs than what we would have paid to release a half decent manager
-
I too would show that loyalty if I was over promoted and paid handsomely to perform so woefully
-
Sorry disagree, Skipp has been head and shoulders above Winks who has been nothing short of a disgrace for the majority of this season, regularly downing tools and when he can be half arsed to turn up, just wants to spend the majority of the game slowing down possession and playing lots of one/two’s with the defenders. Pass completion stat packer.
-
Fcuk me surely if you go home and away and watched us surrender our premier league place and now sit on the verge of league one, how could you not question Rudkin’s role in all of this.
-
These last two games have shown up his limitations, two must win and very winnable games against one team on the beach and the other who has won one game all season and guess what he goes with the same old same old formation and tactics, and we end up having to rely on late equalisers in both to snatch a draw from the jaws of defeat. He is woefully out of his depth when he has to select a team to go out on the front foot and attack the game. His stock tactic is to set up not to lose rather than to win the game. Hence why we bottle so many winnable games under him and our best performances have been away games against opposition near the top of the table.
-
Two appalling results this weekend 4 points dropped in 2 must win games against piss poor opposition. Players can get to feck but Rowett needs to look in the mirror because that was nowhere near good enough. Too slow and passive in two such important games.

If we don’t win today, then i hope if there is that much interference from upstairs Rowett walks and Rudkin has to take charge for the last few games -

Do we ever just absolutely go for it when we are losing, we are half an hour away from defeat in a must win game and we still strolling around like it’s a pre season friendly. Rowett is having zero impact this is fecking disgusting 🤢
