Rowett was appointed on 18th February when it was clear this was a survival only gig highly likely even allowing for a debrief etc that his contract will probably terminate at the end of this week at the latest. I would be shocked if it went to the end of May or June. I think it will be announced at spme point this week that Rowett, Davidson and Sadler have all left the club following the expiry of their short term deals.

Please take part in the survey, the more who take part the louder the voice. We are all seeing & hearing what is being written and spoken about us in mainstream media, the future is bleak so surely now is the time to sign up because the Trust will have a massive role moving forward in not only challenging and helping the club but potentially like in 2002 in the event of administration, the trust may have a role to play in helping secure the future of the club.

Wonder if the club will sack Passmoor before the play off
-
Wonder if we could persuade Sammie Smozdics to drop down to league one on a loan with an option to buy if promoted. Terrific work rate and great professional who would be a great fit and experienced player to support the younger players we will need to rely on.
-
The run under Rowett was equally as poor, King was down to 10 men twice in the first half of games, yes we completely shit the bed against Saints but to only take 3 points from games against QPR, PNE, Sheff Wednesday, Watford, Swansea and Pompey was the death knell for me, We could and should as a minimum took at least 9 points from that very winnable run of fixtures.
-
I am just hoping McCarron will bring fresh ideas and energy and one of his initial thoughts is we need to appoint early to ensure we are well prepared ahead of pre season
-
I thought the same thing, I think Wellens is being quite clever, realises he has taken Orient as far as he can and this will engineer his exit whilst massively raising his profile.
-
I have to be honest, I wasn’t overly excited by his appointment, I thought it was pretty lazy, uninspiring and unimaginative, however what I did think he would bring would be a ruthless streak, mix up the team selections, create a siege mentality and yet there was none of that. it was almost like he knew he was 3rd/4th choice his heart was barely in it and it was just another pay day. Given the severity of the situation, his team selections, tactics and his interviews has done nothing but continued with more of the same, he had an opportunity on a short contract to really shake things up, call players out, tell a few honest truths but he chose to either play safe or I’ve influenced and completely bollocksed the job. That run of results & performances from QPR onwards in a run of very very winnable fixtures was absolutely criminal. Should not be any where near the conversation for next season, his treatment of the younger players has been appalling.

Wellens or Fuchs both have that Pearsonesque vibe think both would kick this clubs sorry ass back to something like it should be.
-
Didn’t deserve to bow out with this shit show. You could see how much this season was hurting him unfortunately the crap culture and lack of standards meant he was pissing in the wind. Good luck for the future Riccy

Cannot wait for the announcement from the club thanking Gary and Callum for their hard work and wishing them all the best for the future.

Here lies the evidence why Rowett should be nowhere near a rebuild of this club. A dead rubber and a chance to give youth its chance and he absolutely shits the bed and goes with mostly the usual suspects. Monga only starts because Abdul is unavailable. Why not give Gray and Aluko as chance and have Hutchinson and Otchere on the bench at least. Instead we get the chance to see these tossers for one last hurrah and send off.
-
Let’s hope it’s right, I really do hope McCarron is given the opportunity to rebuild the club, would love to see a change in style to play more high energy, high intensity game with a forward thinking manager and young hungry players.
-
Errrrrrrr is James McCarron not Director of Football? Therefore he will be involved in the recruitment process will he not? And I am fairly sure Kevin Davies will also be involved indirectly regards overall club strategy. My comment is largely based on this restructure isn’t really delivering much in the way of innovative thinking.
-
In January we underwent a significant restructuring of our football club, promotions for Rudkin and Kevin Davies, and new blood added in a new Director of Football with the appointment of James McCarron, this new brains trust and supposed new direction and fresh ideas has so far overseen the uninspiring appointment of Gay Rowett and now links to Darren Ferguson ……… This doesn’t feel like a massive shift in strategy or any outside of the box thinking, in fact there is a massive lack of innovative ideas or strategy and just looks to be more of the same tired, lacklustre, lazy recruitment.
-
Cannot wait for the final whistle to blow and bring this absolute shit show of a season to an end. Hopefully 90% of the current first team squad will be gone and a whole new refresh centred around young hungry players and a coaching staff fixated on creating a professional environment and playing style built on high intensity, high press football, something that the Leicester fanbase resonates with and can get behind.

Inside Knowledge or a guess?

Agree about the injuries but just have a feeling the Viveash link is also an issue.
-
My fear with Robins is he looks like he struggling without Viveash.
-
Will try and do the NW and Yorkshire games next season so hoping Stockport, Bolton and Bradford all stay down, Wigan, Blackpool, Barnsley will also be on the list. Might do Bromley and Leyton Orient if they can stay up. Hoping Salford come up as well.

It depends if it’s a specified relegation such as premier league to Championship is X % and Championship to league one is Y %. It could be that there is a general relegation clause with a specified % each time.
