  1. With local charities such as Loros, Lamp and Leicester Hospitals as the back of shirt partner. With the club making a donation to that charity for each and every shirt sold that they appear on. Imagine if the price of a shirt increased by say a £1 or £2 but that money went direct to those charities, sales would go through the roof and both the club and local charities benefit. Win win.
  2. This is the issue I have with the ‘strange’ commercial strategy we have as a club, we sign up to a deal with Adidas that churns out honking template kits because we want the ‘prestige’ and then when it comes to a sponsor we are more than happy to bend the rules and sign up with dubious crypto and betting companies which only add to the disconnect with the fanbase. 2 easy wins for the club would be to strike a deal with a decent kit manufacturer and sponsor the supporters can relate with, the immediate reconnection and increase in merchandise sales would be a huge boost and positive for the club.
  3. It just goes to show that the November & January interviews with Aiyawatt and all the stuff regards getting closer and communicating with the fanbase was just a PR exercise to divert away from building fan pressure. Truth is we are back to where we usually are completely in the dark and treated with distain, the bare minimum should have been an unveiling and interview with McCarron. Instead as always it’s radio silence.
  4. I would add Puma and Umbro into that mix
  5. Diego Flores 🇦🇷 former assistant to Bielsa at Leeds?
  6. I know he has a year left on his deal at Boro but would love to see us bring in a player like Luke Ayling come in as the experienced leader and mentor to our younger players next season.
  7. Watched it and it’s absolutely broken me 😭
  8. It’s frustrating and given past history it’s no wonder fans are speculating and concerned that we will fall into the same trap of last season, floundering around and waiting until it’s far too late to make the appointment, or it could be as simple as our main target(s) are employed and their seasons are not yet finished.
  9. Absolutely spot on, look at our bad things are on and off the pitch at our club and yet countless fans choose not to bother with the Foxes Trust end of season survey. The apathy and acceptance is a real concern for me, it’s as if a large proportion of our fanbase are happy to give Aiyawatt and Rudkin free reign to destroy the club, whilst either clapping and cheering them on or just shrugging shoulders and choosing to stand by and watch it happen. It really does beggar belief.
  10. Couldn’t agree more if you haven’t yet completed the survey please do it this afternoon, whatever is frustrating you with the club or if you think everything is ok please share your opinions, have your voice.
  11. I can well believe it, makes you wonder just how much damage Rudkin is happy to inflict on his supposed boyhood club to continue to stay in power.
  12. Agreed would be a real good leader and battler in the midfield alongside Braybrooke and a decent role model, we certainly wouldn’t get bullied with him in the side.
  13. A better solution would be to bin off the crypto sponsor and get a more acceptable front of shirt sponsor such as walkers or next and then have Loros, Lamp and Leicester hospitals as back of shirt sponsor one for each shirt and then for every shirt sold that particular charity gets a set donation. Reckon the club would sell an absolute ton of them, make some decent commercial revenue, get fans buying merch again, reconnect with the fanbase and make some decent charitable donations to local worthwhile projects. however if the club were to do it guaranteed it would be a front of shirt sponsor like KBet and the ‘charity’ would be the VS foundation.
  14. The big issue for me is all relegation has done has made players like Page, Monga, Aluko and Nelson all very attainable at knock down prices, so rather than the much needed clear out of our waste of space senior players and the opportunity to build with a lot of academy players, they will be gone and highly likely a good few of the bad eggs will still be here stinking the gaff out. What an utter mess and still some choose to bury their heads in the sand and pretend everything is ok.
  15. Whilst managing to alienate even more of our fanbase in doing so …..
  16. Hardly innovative is it, there has to be much more creative ways to create additional revenue, a partnership with Kasabian, a decent front of shirt sponsor and link up with Loros and Lamp would probably see a massive increase in shirt sales, merch and matchday revenues but alas we seem more fixated trying to circumvent rules and creating a massive disconnect with the fanbase. Moral compass is all wrong and I wouldn’t mind it isn’t working either we are the pits on and off the pitch.
  17. Please don’t have jinxed my suggestion 😂😂😂
  18. The Foxes Trust end of season survey closes this Sunday, this is open to all LCFC fans, giving you a chance to have your voice and opinions heard and please take the chance to join the trust with full and free membership options available http://surveymonkey.com/r/BLS29D9
  19. Ruud, Marti, Kingy and Rowett have all called out the culture at the club, the only hope is the club can move on most / all of the high earners and bad eggs and start again with a whole new strategy. The hierarchy need to stop being so naive offering lucrative long term contracts and move to a more sustainable performance based model that focus on recruiting young hungry players and offering them a genuine pathway to develop their careers. There also needs to be step away from the current situation where certain players seem to have a direct line to the Owner completely undermining the role of the manager. It has to change now and the manager given the opportunity to stamp his authority, standards and culture on the club, and any dissenters are told to feck off and not be enabled by a starry eyed owner who wants to be best mates with willy pullers like Winksy.
  20. I am hoping this is the case and it’s more Ferguson & his representatives getting his name out there to generate interest from other clubs who are also searching for a manager.
  21. Ferguson would be as underwhelming as when we appointed Cooper. Really do hope we don’t go down this route.
  22. Only a few more days to go, please take the 5-10 minutes to fill out the survey, your voice and your opinions matter. And if not already done so please join the Foxes Trust, it’s £5 for full membership and there are also concession and a free membership option. https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/BLS29D9
  23. Brilliant pod fellas, Charlie Methven and Jamie both absolutely superb. After listening this I would hope any doubters will have been inspired to not only participate in the end of season survey but also sign up to become a full member of the Foxes Trust. loved the closing messages, not only is this a brilliantly entertaining podcast but as Jordan said it’s a real community. As you all know I participate in Prostate United where I run at least 5km each and every day throughout October, it’s a very early idea after hearing you taking part in the Leicester half marathon by possibly joining you and doing my 11th run as the Leicester half …..
  24. I agree to a point regards points deductions, however my point is that the lack of cash flow is what will push us into administration, not a PSR breach. However continually losing money, £270m over 4 seasons and having a very high expenditure on wages, day to day running costs and future liabilities on transfer fees whilst factoring future revenues are all red flags. add this to greatly reduced revenue in league one, then I can genuinely foresee an issue in the next 12-18 months where we could be in administration as a result of not being able to service our day to day running costs.
  25. Great post, I have been banging this drum for a while now, it’s not about PSR or league one equivalent, it’s about cash flow, and ours will have taken a hit this season with the drop off in attendances etc and matchday revenue which is critical in terms of day to day cash flow. Season tickets sales are not going well and the latest incentives show the club are getting desperate. what will be interesting is do we sell a player or two quite quickly and is this to satisfy PSR compliance or is it discounted on basis that the majority of the fee is paid upfront, to help keep the wolf from the door.
