  1. I would love Fuchs and Pearson to be the new managenent team, but if it was to be this you would have to question how much involvement McCarron is really going to have in his new role. personally Fuchs as manager and Nige as Assistant but with additional responsibility for setting up the medical and analytical side of the club, bring back Steve Walsh to revamp the recruitment and bin off Rudkin and Glover …..Aiyawatt might just start to win a few round if he showed this type of ruthlessness and decision making.
  2. For me this is the final nail in the Rudkin coffin, there is nothing to base any case of defence of him, the academy and production line of talent coming through was the only shining light of his ongoing tenure here. This season has even managed to destroy that, we hire a manager in Cifuentes who seemed happy to blood and include players like Monga, Page, Aluko etc but clearly was given the remit to include the experienced players we were trying to bin off or make use of them rather than let them rot…….. it has had catastrophic consequences, as surprise surprise they let the club down time and time again resulting in relegation and a bunch of talented academy players not utilised. Massive missed opportunity this season and could have massive repercussions on our ability to attract and retain top academy talent. Another example of our complete lack of strategy, no point having state of art facilities, top class academy talent but no clear, defined pathway to the 1st team. Just like our player and managerial recruitment our academy strategy is erratic, chaotic and a complete and utter mess.
  3. I was, what a game, this was the frustration with this Pleat side, we were capable of playing some decent stuff at times and had some good players for this level but woeful inconsistency meant we never challenged for promotion and seemed to just hang about in mid table
  4. He was superb on his return to the team, however given the grave financial circumstances we can ill afford to make emotional or ill judged decisions. Truth is he has a dubious injury record and can we afford to take a chance on a player who could break down at any stage. Personally i think if there is even a remote chance we can sell, get his wages off the books and cover what’s left on his book value then i am afraid that is what we have to do.
  5. I really like Jakub, genuinely think he cares deeply about the club, still think he is a quality keeper who will have a decent career, this season I honestly believe he has been dragged down by the dogshit standards and culture, yeah he has made mistakes but when you have a team in front of you barely breaking sweat it must be pretty demoralising. Hope he stays and becomes part of our new start and helps the going academy players bed in, think his attitude and commitment will be infectious and a key role in next season.
  6. The only argument is we won the league 10 years ago and the FA Cup 5 years ago so have earned the right to destroy the club and we should continue to be grateful for the wonderful miracle and shut up not say a word, clap and cheer our way into the abyss.
  7. He has been fecking pony just like the last 3 other managerial appointments by this mob, but and I repeat but be very careful what you wish for 😂
  8. This would be my team - Stolarcyrk Aluko Souttar Gray Thomas Choudhury Page Neale Hutchinson Monga Otchere Subs Vietas Toko Ali Amartey Donnelly Golding De Isle Carr Briggs all about next season, give the youngsters a chance, even 90 minutes at this level would be massive in there development and preparation for next season.
  9. Will definitely give it a listen 👏🏼👏🏼
  10. If he gets the gig in the summer then I think I will take a sabbatical, he has been woeful, I am hoping it’s just playing the media game as I am sure @CosbehFox said he heard Rowett didn’t want it and in fact was packing it in. Maybe the club have asked him to make positive noises in the media to make it sound attractive and exciting to encourage other applicants and candidates.
  11. I have been going since 1980 and like you I have seen it all……. I will ask you one straight forward question, who has put us on the verge of going bust? I am sorry but the only thing I wish and care about is my football club and the current hierarchy are literally running it into the ground. I couldn’t care less what happened 10 years ago, they were rightly lauded and worshipped at the time, but in the same way that does not give them a free pass to take the club to its lowest ebb and the brink of administration and possible liquidation, so I would turn this around on anyone continuing to back the ownership - be careful what you wish for …… because the evidence of the last 5 years, it’s highly probable they will be the ones who make us go bust.
  12. That’s it after tonight I am beginning to suspect that half these wet wipes clapping and cheering Winks every move are club plants, fans paid to clap and cheer when prompted, but like the honestly flags with very specific instructions what to do and when. It’s almost choreographed. Fecking disgraceful. The bloke has disrespected the club on a number of occasions and still these clowns clap him.
  13. But where are all the back the lads, in good times and bad, crowd etc etc
  14. Just been shown on Sky sports 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
  15. Lucky fecker 😂 only joking pal that is a disgrace, it really is like a dictatorship 🥲
  16. Yeah good luck @Ric Flair go smash it pal 👊🏼
  17. McBurnie and Bamford both available in the summer on frees and would have been a massive difference instead we wasted money on Carranza & Vietas
  18. I am really hoping there has been a very open honest discussion that both he and Aiyawatt have realised it’s best for all parties for him to step down and it will be announced in the coming days.
  19. Successive relegations and into league one for only the 2nd time in history, 3 relegations in 4 seasons, 4 woeful managerial appointments on the bounce, £270m losses posted in the last 4 seasons accounts, our 1st points deduction in our history. We have financial meltdown to look forward to, no doubt the jewels in the crown of our academy will leave for a pittance and a fire sale of the shite on high wages and still some say be careful what you wish for…….how bad does it have to get for some to wake up and realise enough is enough this is unacceptable and wholesale change is needed immediately. We are in real danger of administration over these next couple of years, how much longer will you allow this free pass to literally destroy our club in front of your eyes whilst clapping and cheering them on.
  20. I hope your optimism is realised however given we lost £20m on £105m revenue when we won the championship to then record a loss of £70m on £185m revenue in the premier league frightens me to death and all under his watch as Finance Director. That would suggest we have learnt nothing and his promotion is more aligned to his loyalty to the board / ownership.
  21. Would be great if some local successful businessman were interested even as some sort of consortium - John Bloor - Triumph & Bloor Homes Will Adderley - Dunelm David Ross - Carphone Warehouse David Wilson - Barrett Developments Samsworth Brothers
  22. You mean this one …….😂
  23. Also this wasn’t an official FT meeting with the club so this is not a reflection on how Steve or the trust board would operate in a very different situation and environment. This was an unscheduled and unplanned chance meeting, one which would and could be shut down as soon as any aggression, abuse or pointed questions about any particular individual were levelled towards him. anyone expected someone to ask about Rudkin getting sacked and Top suddenly launching into a tirade about him and how he will be sacked ASAP is living in dream land. It was always going to be safe responses and just trying to show how gutted he was by it all. personally think the criticism levelled by some toward GLC is a little over the top.
