  1. In the one game or for the season?
  2. I think it’s just a waiting game for both parties, club want to try and save face and wait for as long as possible to sack him, it’s not a great look sacking two managers in a season, so I think they will wait to as late as possible, once relegation is confirmed or off the back of it going toxic at the stadium. As for Ruud I think he is just waiting for his pay off and I think we will see a few more stories being leaked of him trying to change the mentality, as he seeks to save his tattered reputation.
  3. I agree Dyche is a million miles away from Pearson, I would say if he is too be compared with any former managers it would be Dave Bassett.
  4. Rumours are the club is pretty much led by a group of senior players including Vardy, Winks,, Vesty and Coady. What is interesting is that Ruud has now isolated 2 from his match day squad and Vardy removed at half time for tactical reasons. The more I think about this, the more I think this is being leaked by Ruud’s people as damage limitation and to spin the narrative that the club is rotten and their are zero standards, it’s not his fault blah blah blah, this is a dead man walking scenario, he knows it and so does his his representatives so let’s try and and spin the story that Ruud never had a chance etc etc. I honestly think Monday’s team and match day squad selection and performance will show he has lost a lot of the senior players and he will be on his way in the next few days.
  5. 38 year old Vardy has played more minutes than Isak this season, that is fecking criminal, literally run into the ground because Daka is so poor and Eduoard isn’t trusted to even make the bench. We are a shambles.
  6. Honest truth is I think a lot of players have lost their mojo under 2 very poor managerial appointments, I am not excusing the lack of professionalism but to put it into perspective if you are working at a company you love and have really bought into the culture of the current manager and then he leaves and his replacement comes in and immediately lets standards and expectations drop, it’s very easy to become disengaged, it doesn’t matter what you earn etc morale drops and it’s no longer an enjoyable or positive environment to work in, couple that with the fact the new man is then sacked and replaced by somebody equally as inept, it makes for a very unhappy place of work. As I have said I am not defending anyone associated with the club but the drop off since last season has been huge across all aspects of the club, and that will make for a pretty toxic and negative environment to be around and part of.
  7. I think he is on about £25k - £30k per week at Strasbourg
  8. Starting XI and subs bench will be very interesting clearly cracks now appearing, with Vestergard and Winks jettisoned from the match day squad, will Vardy start after being hauled off at half time, will there be any significant changes to the personnel and surely if Ruud is planning on being here longer term then he needs to start giving the promising academy players a chance.
  9. Given he has dropped Winks from the squad and taken Vardy off at half time he is either engineering his own demise or desperately trying to regain some control. My guess would be the former. Reckon he could be gone after Monday
  10. If the agreement when Winks signed that he can commute then that is what is agreed, if his levels and standards have dropped and the manager asks for him to reduce his commuting to help raise his performances, then it should certainly be considered, however given the timing, it coinciding with the birth of his daughter then you have to question the timing, it seems to me to be a PR move by RVN and his team to deflect away from his disastrous spell in charge, this is the third leak regards standards at the club and IMO this is damage limitation from his team now the writing is on the wall, reckon he will be gone after Monday night.
  11. Yes he is 38 and his career is in the final stages but he has scored 27 goals last season and this, he is probably still one of our most effective players, if used correctly and not ran into the ground like he has this season. Enzo managed him superbly last season and he was superb, this season and 10 goal involvements out of 25 this season again demonstrates he still has it. I have no issue with another 12 months if on the right terms and we manage him correctly.
  12. He doesn’t negotiate prices or contracts he will be given specific positions and profiles of players. He will scout and provide a number of players based on the profile and then the manager and Rudkin will decide who to pursue and Rudkin ultimately responsible for what we pay and contracts etc.
  13. We didn’t that last summer when we had the chance to appoint Carlos Corberan we would much rather throw money at shite like Ayew, BDCR, Skipp and Eduoard than play a release fee for a decent manager.
  14. If he any semblance of dignity or genuinely cared about the long term future of Leicester City then he would step down, either as recognition of his own failings or if he is a puppet then for his own self respect, however as it currently stands he does neither and continues to stick his snout in the trough that is KP and LCFC.
  15. It’s been shit from start to finish, pre season was a joke and it’s just spiralled from there, worst season I can ever remember and I have supported the club since 1979/80 and I include relegation to league one, this has just been a disaster with zero redeeming qualities. And we managed to spunk another £80m on players to top it off with only one having any potential resale value, dreadful in every single aspect.
  16. Sack Ruud or place him on garden leave with immediate effect, appoint Barry-Murphy, McSweeney to see it through to the end of the season, assisted by Kingy with the focus on promoting our promising academy players for the remaining games and building some positivity ahead of the new season. I would also tell Rudkin, Whelan and Glover that they depart their roles on 30th June. And remove them from the process for recruiting any new manager. I would approach Pearson and Walsh to return as advisors/consultants to assist with rebuilding the football side from a recruitment, analysis and sports science perspective, whilst also using there skill and expertise to help with the recruitment of a new manager and DoF. As for Whelan’s replacement I would identify the top ten EFL performing clubs from a commercial perspective and look to recruit from that pool of experienced and talented football administrators.
  17. 2 shots and an Xg of 0.07 when you are supposedly fighting for your lives says everything that needs to be said, persevering with the same team selection week in and week out when it offers so little at both ends of the pitch is just insanity, he has to go today, surely he has to go if Top has any credibility as an owner. An appalling run of results from an appalling manager. how we managed to get two managerial appointments so horrendously wrong is borderline criminal and this really could set the club back years unless we are brave and literally clear the decks and start again. Remember.Cooper was sacked off a run of 1 draw and 5 defeats in his last 6 and we had looked equally poor at both ends of the pitch, and players had seemingly thrown in the towel, 2 very very poor football managers given the chance to manage our football club in the premier league awful awful decision making by the powers at be. I know Pearson has been struggling with health issues but if his health is improving I would hire him and Steve Walsh as football consultants to come in and carry out a root and branch review and ask him to propose how we restructure the club from a sports science, analysis and recruitment perspective. Hire an ambitious coach such as Rosenior, Rohl or Wellens focus on building our 1st team around our top academy prospects and recruiting young hungry talent from EFL and from overseas markets that offer value.
  18. Absolutely indefensible, just hope tonight is the last in charge for him, what a horrid season, pretty much all extinguished with the hiring of Cooper and then allowing him to influence spaffing millions on “ experienced prem players” to then sacking him and replacing him with a manager who has come in and somehow managed to make us even worse and make the outlook even bleaker. Shit show from start to finish, absolute masterclass in fcukwittery from our board.
  19. I am convinced we are a social experiment how can we be on such a poor run and yet he trots out same team and same formation, horrible horrible line up, I will be amazed if we only get beat by 5 tonight. surely lose tonight and he has to go, his team selections are now at absolute peak levels of banter.
  20. Bloody hell I had forgotten that empty feeling of waking knowing we are no doubt going to get let down yet again by this wonderful collective. will it be a humiliating trouncing or yet another tragic performance where we barely lay a glove and show zero attacking ambition or intent in a vain attempt to keep the scoreline respectable. It’s such a sorry sad state of affairs, the last couple of weeks have been absolute bliss not having to witness yet another lame vanilla performance and the equally awful social media posts desperately searching for a modicum of positivity. I cannot wait for this season to end.
  21. Was interesting that a few mention Salford as a failure, he actually won 50% of his games and averaged 1.6 points per game. My main reason for wanting us to go down this route, if we cannot attract someone like Rohl or Rosenior, is he has done the hard yards in the lower leagues and managed at some challenging clubs, whilst still getting them playing in a progressive but successful style. He also seems to have that similar character to Pearson where he takes a club by the scruff of the neck, would be a great appointment if the club have the stomach for the type of rebuild we need and something similar to both times we appointed Pearson.
  22. Is this a suggestion, your opinion or is this a bit of inside knowledge, haven’t we been linked/shown an interest previously?
  23. Makes sense, most likely starts his new role 1st July
  24. Agree Kingy should 100% be involved in a coaching capacity with the 1st team and use the time to prepare him to eventually step up when ready.
  25. Rosenior would be the stand out choice for me, but would be very happy with Wellens, Cleverley or as an outsider Jan Dahl Tommason who did a decent job at Blackburn and had them playing some decent stuff before taking the Sweden job. I really don’t want King being thrown under a bus just yet, let him earn his coaching stripes and mould him to take over in a few years.
