Just watched 30 mins Sky highlight and the only thing I saw of Musa was the notice at the bottom of the screen saying he was a sub coming on. I assumed he'd just gone and sat down on the bench again. Gawd knows what's gone wrong, but I just can't see that he's going to become a "fit" in the team. Can't see us getting anything like what we paid for him back....unless Palace are looking for someone to support the "Schlupperman". I go red faced when I think about how I was following any developments on us signing him in the Transfer Window posts.....can't believe that I actually wanted us to sign him. The only thing we can hang ouir hat on is that he might improve in the way that Vardy and Mahrez did (I'm clutching at straws now).

What a wonderful idea....I'd love to see it applied. It would also help towards stopping the wholesale stockpiling of top players by some clubs if they can't get them games to play in.

I agree with this, it's the style we were playing where they looked as though they were a good fit for us (on paper and limited video's) at the time they were bought. What does bother me, more than a little, is.....are the "old guard" going to be happy with being "squad players" which is an aspect that possibly makes Shakespeare vulnerable as our manager with his perceived loyalty to the "Old Guard". Conversely, will these newer players be comfortable just making up the numbers for injuries and the odd cup game?
