  1. You know your club better than I do so I'm not going to argue whether they were right or wrong to feel that way. From our perspective, what I would say is that clinging onto the past when we are clearly on a downward trajectory hasn't served us well at all. Was Nuno leaving the catalyst for your decline or was it the subsequent appointments and recruitment that was the main cause? I'm not being flippant, it's a genuine question. It can ofcourse be all of the above.
  2. It's as though you can be grateful for the past whilst also knowing what is right for the future of a club.
  3. Seeing plenty of Newcastle fans saying it's time for Howe to go despite where they were when he took over and what he has achieved with them, meanwhile we still have plenty of people that are cheerleading for an ownership that are leading us into oblivion.
  4. I still think Liverpool have been the biggest underachievers. With what they spent in the summer on top of a title winning side, they should be well in a title race at this stage. I said at the start of the season that they should snot this league, and I stand by it.
  5. Despite what we've achieved in my lifetime, I'd give my left nut to win this competition again. I hate when these clubs don't field their best teams in finals.
  6. That TOTP performance was sensational. Hoddle looks like it's his calling, Waddle looks like he'd rather be doing literally anything else.
  7. He did release Diamond Lights with Glenn Hoddle though. Absolute travesty they were called 'Glenn and Chris' and not 'Hoddle and Waddle'. That was an absolute tap in. Make footballers pop stars again.
  8. People often credit Arsene Wenger as being the man who took English football away from long balls, baggy kits, muddy pitches and drinking culture. I don't think he should get any credit for that. I say bring back those days. #makefootballshitagain
  9. I compare these type of games to long prog rock songs that don't really go anywhere. Fun to analyse if you're a purest that's really into analysing it, but boring as **** to watch/listen to.
  10. They should have been 2 or 3 up by half-time. They were so dominant first half.
  11. How many chances do Boro need to score? This has got a Blackburn smash and grab written all over it.
  12. I'm struggling with this club at the minute. I support Leicester because I'm from Leicester, and I'm a big believer in supporting your local club. However, I don't identify with seemingly most of the Leicester fanbase at all. I'm so out of step with the fanbase that it leads me questioning what it actually is that I'm supporting. Whatever this is doesn't represent me at all.
  13. Do you live locally? I know a couple of people who took part in the protest and turned around and went home before the game.
  14. Did everyone who has voiced their criticism of the ownership on here turn up to the protest yesterday? If not, why not?
  15. Get the plane in the sky
  16. Sorry, he probably doesn't need or want defending but I losely know the poster you are referring to and he was one of the 250 or so people who were at the protest before the game. I know because I was there myself and I saw him. He is definitely not KPFC.
  17. You protesters are a disgrace. The players definitely remembered 40 minutes into the game that there were 250 people outside the ground saying some hurty words about our owners and got upset and couldn't concentrate. It's your fault we're getting relegated!
  18. The only instance where this would be acceptable to me is if they had the cast of It's Always Sunny in Philidelphia commentating on the game in character.
  19. We had a chairman that was at least somewhat pro-active and was prepared to make a decisions that was in the best interests of the club even if it made him unpopular. He actually gave him more than enough time to try and turn it around and sack him just before it was too late.
  20. It's funny, isn't it? If you don't feel like the Foxes Trust represents you as a Leicester fan, then join the Foxes Trust and have your say. I think it only costs £10 for the year.
  21. He was pretty unlucky to be relegated with Birmingham in 2024 to be fair. He only had 8 games and he picked up 11 points. That's a points per game ratio of 1.375. Emulate that across a season and that's 63 points, which is a comfortable mid-table finish. If he achieves 1.375 ppg over the 14 league games he'd have managed with us this season, it means we'd have finished on 51 points. If we are still relegated on that total, he should not be blamed at all for the relegation. Any sensible person will know where the blame should lie.
  22. Compare that to now. We had people in the family stand throwing their season tickets onto the pitch when we were heading towards the third tier for the first time in our history. We now have people saying "be careful what you wish for" to anyone who questions an ownership that may be leading us back there.
  23. It's a bit chicken and egg. When you have a good centre forward you often create more chances. We've had Ayew upfront for most of the season, who doesn't bring others into play, who doesn't win enough aerial duals and who doesn't stretch defenses with movement. Imagine how many chances we could create and how many goals we could score.
  24. I'm not really sure this is something that can really be 'both sides'd'. I don't think anyone that who has vocally calling for new ownership has physically assaulted anyone with a differing opinion. The same cannot be said for the other side.
  25. I love the 'he know's the club' argument when he was last at the club 25 years ago when we had a different stadium, a different training ground, different owners, and even a largely different fanbase
