Hopefully he's got a taste. As up to last night it was the weakest part of his game for a wide attacking forward. He's got it all in his locker. Just needs to commit to getting in the scoring zone more. And of course not always a for top bins. Plenty of goal to hit Fats!!!

Southampton (H) - Tue 23/04/24 - 20:00 KO

I don't think the team selection now really matters. As I've no idea whose on form and how they will play. We are just about grinding out promotion. Stumbling over the line and regrouping. But hopefully WBA result will have bouyed them. Confidence is king! -
He's lost his form and mojo. Just doing the bare minimum currently. Maybe his simply bored of shovel pass 😂

Jamie Vardy Appreciation

I appreciate the good things he does. But score the peno & the simple tap in. And my BPM wouldn't have hit 170!! Thanks Jamie -
Don't be so bloody logical!

Nacho left the building about June 2023. His clone has been coasting around the dressing room and pitch ever since.

We are very fortunate that no one wants to get into that stinky premier league. Championship is where it's at!!!! -

Feck me. Had we not been so crap this last week. We'd have nearly been promoted. I don't really want favours. But boy are we being given some. -
So evidently he can't use the left peg, the right peg or his hexagonal head. Do we need another keeper?

Enzo Out? Time for an official thread/poll
Marshall Cockney Fox replied to SecretPro's topic in Leicester City Forum
Sadly. I don't believe you can sack a manager with 5 games left..it's too late. But how's about a Cambiasso MK2 (if you believe the legend). And the the players take ownership, tell Enzo it's not working and assert their own football integrity. -
Is Enzo blind or just abusing him? The reality is tj keep picking someone who is legitimately jeopardising promotion. Must surely either be born out of ignorance or some form of masochism. Painful either way for everyone!!!
-
Bang on fella. Only question I have is, does Enzo properly have a cob on about scheduling and is just whining. Or is he trying to deflect the heat off his players. Both he's doing poorly. But I'd be interested to understand his mindset.
-
There is absolutely nothing wrong with having a structure (call it Enzo ball). It breeds familiarity, understanding and consistency. But a structure is a foundation. One to be adapted, built upon, tweaked as the situation dictates. To stick wholly to a system. Even when it isn't working is naive at best and stupid at worst. As others have said. The talent in the squad affords options in tactics, style etc. If our manager is unable to maximise those resources. Then that is a pretty damning indictment on his own limitations. Just let them play what they see Enzo!!!
-
Remember the fella had barely managed before us. A dozen games in Italy. So the nonsense he's spoutting currently is that of a novice. So whilst it's not an excuse for trotting out bull&£#. Wd need to understand the context. He's learning on the job. And is definitely not the Messiah!!!
-
I agree. Think he's looked very average of late. Doing the bare minimum for me. He's more than capable of picking a pass between the lines. But happy to defer to shovel ball. Whole midfield were catatonic last night

I used to feel sorry for Akinbiyi. As his pace and power got him into good positions. But he'd then shank it. Where as Trevor Benjamin was just crap. So didn't get into those positions to start with - so couldn't be accused of missing them. But I don't feel sorry for Patson at all. He's earning top dollar. And it's inexcusable to keep failing over and over again.
-
I think all 3 of the big salary strikers have been iffy at best this season. Yes, even Vards. Daka gets more stick as his shanks are woeful. But as a trio. They have been one of the biggest disappoints of the whole season. For all their combined reputations, salaries and experience. They should have had a goal carnival this season. But it has never taken off. I know our defence can be worrying. But if your 2 up you have a safety net.

Going to bed on a positive. Fatawu's run and flick to Nacho was awesome. Great moment in a team performance of nothingness. If Fats did that more we would be much the better for it 👍👍 -

It was a shocking decision.Wilf is still not back to his early season form of fitness. If you play him. It must be to his strengths. But the bald fella won't be swayed easily. We had to be losing first. -

Bloody hope not. He's the future. The other 3 aren't. -

I was pleased the commentator asked about Wilf's positioning. But I would have phrased it like this "Enzo my 8 year old daughter noticed you playing the right footed central mid out of position on the left. Can you clarify why when it was shockingly bad. And negating the value of your best creative mid (KDH). You persisted with such a piss poor tactic. My child would like to understand?" -

Biggest mistake not throwing our lot behind this lad. The other 3 have simply huffed and puffed to varying success or in fact failure all season. But Tom looked like someone who 'could' score. I don't know if it's favouritism, lack or balls or tactical ineptitude. But Enzo couldn't get the big names back in the striker shirt quick enough. Regardless of actual form. -
Can anyone count back what his 'legitimate' missed sitters have cost us this season? He's in negative equity surely? Montage reel would be a horror show.

Too many hot threads here chaps. Just don't bother. There was so much wrong with tonight's performance. You'd lose hours trying to unpick it. Let's just say the manager, his tactics and his players were all crap. That just about covers it!! -

I thought he showed real potential in the opportunities he's been given. Definitely has a radar to work the keeper. Which is an essential trait for a striker. Compare that to Patson's radar. Which is wonky as £+&#!!!
