I don't like the vibe of this one. It feels like a lot of effort that will likely come to nout. The foxes are perhaps pawns in a larger bidding / sales war. Don't lose time and energy unless it feels a genuine possibility.
-
Given I want Patson the shanker gone. Cannon has to stay. Leaving one senior pro (Vards), one youngster (Cannon) and a berth for a prime striker. 3 is surely the minimum required
-
I'm totally indifferent to Wilf now. As there is no doubt we've seen the best of him already. Not quite sure why his form disappeared over the hill. But unless it rises again like Lazarus. He's a Prem squad player at best.
-
Who has he got to push out to get a starting berth at Chelsea? I like KDH, and in full flight his drive is a real resource. But never saw him at a large Prem team.
-
No disrespect to my beloved foxes. But Potter has been extremely patient not to just jump at the first overture since Chelsea. I just can't see why 'our project' (dubious points & finances). Is what he's been waiting for. Would seem an odd outcome to me. Unless his missus has told him to just piss off as he's stinking the house out.
-
I really hope this isn't going to drag on. We have a huge rebuild and possible culture change ahead. I'd prefer that project to start reasonably soon as opposed to in mid July.
-
I find it interesting that there isn't a temporary club imposed embargo on transfers. Certainly until the new manager is in post. Odd decision to me. As Vestergard is definitely a marmite player.
-
It is weird. But then Kompany just landed the Bayern gig. Silly season!!!
-
I'm bored of this already. Are they moving the contract around the table in an Enzo slow build style. Over to lawyer one, back to lawyer 2, lateral passing to lawyer 3. Then send it right back to the photocopy machine!!! Apologies I'd anyone else has done this

“There’s no loyalty in football anymore”
Marshall Cockney Fox replied to Phube's topic in Leicester City Forum
I don't think anyone expects Vardy levels of loyalty. Certainly nowhere close. But expecting a Manager or a player to stay longer than a solitary season is pretty reasonable. Particularly in the context of this team / club moving forwards up the league. We haven't just been relegated. We've been promoted. -
No idea. We will see shortly what out situation is. Then people can make an informed decision on whether Enzo's actions were reasonable given the context. Im not blind to the fact that loyalty only goes so far. But one season 🤔🤔
-
Neither Ipswich or Saints will have it easy. Getting promoted and kicking on is a real challenge. But I still don't feel that legitimises running off at the first opportunity. It seems the much coveted Ipswich manager is staying where he is.
-
We gave him his first gig in England. A platform to progress and build a managers career. I don't wish him good luck at all. He dropped his knickers quicker than a hooker on Black Friday. Ta ra baldy!!!
-
I'm hoping he's as successful at Chelsea as Drinkwater and Fofana.
-
The mere fact that he's interested. Is enough for me to want a new manager. We have a long journey ahead. But if the guvnor has itchy feet already. He's not the man for me.
-
Do we think he has a clause? As otherwise why would we sell. Unless it's a huge offer?
-
I'm comfortable that Leicester is but a stepping stone. If he is going to be a successful manager. But to go now having only managed 2 clubs for barely more than a season. Then more fool him. History has shown fledgling managers rarely succeed longer term at the big boys. When the new manager bounce wanes. They don't have the experience to fall back on. Sure there are always exceptions. But if his ego tells him he's the man. Then ta ra Enzo. They are just a posh West London Watford. Go enjoy the brief merry go round!!

Sammie Szmodics - signed for Ipswich
Marshall Cockney Fox replied to simpmeister's topic in Transfer Talk
It's all about the price. But as a player I liked his eye for a goal. Plus a bit of genuine gas. -
Tom Cannon officially signs!
Marshall Cockney Fox replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
I want to keep him. He's got potential. And was harshly treated by Enzo. Who just took the safe option and kept picking the senior striker/s. You need 4 in the Prem. He can be one for sure. -
I'd be deeply worried if the club did that.
-
No interest in keeping him. With his talent and age he should have excelled as our no.1 striker this season. But he's been MIA all season. Checked out long ago. Ta ra
-
I'm not bothered. At his best he's a PL destroyer and top DM. But I don't see him matching up with the oppos in any other position.
-
So where do you rank this promotion?
Marshall Cockney Fox replied to Koke's topic in Leicester City Forum
Definitely the best promotion in 2024 -
Vardy in the Prem next year ?
Marshall Cockney Fox replied to marcymarc666's topic in Leicester City Forum
We will need at least 4 strikers. He can surely be one of em. Mr Leicester will help in many ways. As it's going to be fecking hard work. But your salary must match you age / ability. Not the bloody stupid financial hole Becca has dug for you!!! -
Friday or Monday for promotion.
