He properly redeemed himself 2nd half. As I was happy for hit to get hooked at halftime. Worked hard, won balls back and swung some good crosses over.

Anyone ever see Rogers turn a sinking game around with tactical changes or effective substitutions? I can't remember it. But that's what Cooper just did this evening. Fair play fella!!

Credit where it's due. Both CBs were solid this eve. I'm sure Solanke suits them a lot more than say more mobile / rapid forwards. But they did a cracking job.

Hopefully Skipps arrival means we can allow a European team to take him from us for pittance. Yes, they'll pull out pants down. But we will be rid of the perpetual coaster.

Facundo Buonanotte joins on loan - Official
Marshall Cockney Fox replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
He's already light years on from the last lad we loaned for that position from Chelsea. Cesare was at the beginning. This lad already looks Prem class. -
Perhaps he really does see Mav a a CF option. So keeping him fresh to swap in for a tiring Vards later in the game. In effect managing his resources.

If Hamza starts I'm going to needs strong drink to calm me down. I accept we're short up top. But we have enough defenders and grafting mids to surely make ourselves hard to beat. And no Hamza your not one of em! -
Oliver Skipp Confirmed

Your so right. Glamour individual signings won't keep us up without the resilience and attitude players like Taggart, Claridge and hopefully Skipp bring . -
Oliver Skipp Confirmed

I'm not against Skipp. I'm happy with this signing overall. No he is not the Messiah signing some of us were desperate for. But salvation is going to come through hard graft and the collective team performance. -
Oliver Skipp - confirmed official

My Spurs supporting mates view when comparing Winks & Skipp. "Well, they're very similar players. Winks is a bit more no. 8 (so, yes, possibly held back a bit) and Skipp is more of a 6. Both can shoot, both can pass, neither are tricky. Winks is more dynamic. He can drive forward with the ball more. Skipp is a bit stronger. Better at holding the ball". Could it be that in the absence of a real passing CAM. Skipp's function is to perhaps allow Winks to play a little further forward? -

I don't entirely mind this. As he's infinitely more experienced and skilled than Hamza. But as others have said, it doesn't remove the need for finding a creative CM. But I suspect we will be about containment and feeding our mercurial creative wingers -
If we start the season with Hamza on the park. Then we are simply an embarrassment.

This feckers the very definition of 'comfy'. Career coaster

Too soon to hit the panic button?
Marshall Cockney Fox replied to SafewayFox's topic in Transfer Talk
The only variable that makes me question our inertia is the 'points noose' that hangs over our heads. How much of the clubs perceived passivity could be levied against their fears that this season will be made meaningless when the Prem hit us with a record deduction. And we are in effect already preparing to be a championship club again. -

The thing is bar JJ, all of those defenders are or have been internationals. Some at the recent euros. So they aren't all gash. They have proven ability. But does that come together effectively in a blue shirt - perhaps no. But surely a good coach can mould that. Okoli wasn't a priority to me. A CAM was. -
Not bothered about Wilf. In my view, we have already got some talented hot & cold wingers already. Wilf would just add arrogance and moodyness to that. His budget (if we actually have one) should be used on a creative CAM. Someone who can link play through the middle. Otherwise Mavs, Fats, Vards or whoever will barely get a look in.

Why did we pay money for an average CB, when we had a glut of average CBs already on our books? If we have pittance, it needs using wisely. And there is the issue. What at our club currently looks wise, strategic and carefully thought out? Absolutely nothing. HMS Shambles left port a while ago! -
Jordan Ayew (interest confirmed by Percy)

What will we have to sell that anyone wants 😂😂

Why get promoted if you have no intention of investing in a premiership survival project. I'm simply bemused by our 'state of being'. WTF are we about as a football club now? I have no idea of our philosophy or agenda. -
I'm seriously frustrated, like everyone else. But presumably loan to buy agreements are the most complicated to agree? As you set fee / salary for now. And at the same time price / salary for a year's time. That's a lot of variables to take into account.

Obviously we don't fully know the stumbling blocks and complications of getting signatures over the line. But christ are we making it look difficult. It's cringe worthy stuff!! -
Im not bothered at all. I was anxious about his level of motivation anyway. So hearing this issue doesn't surprise or in fact disappoint me at all. Yes he could of been very exciting. But he could of also been an expensive mistake. Buyer beware!!

Sammie Szmodics - signed for Ipswich

The lad knows where the net is. Daka however has net blindness and a club foot. I know who on current form I'd rather have a sitter fall to.
