What the actual chuff

It’s genuinely the most race I’ve ever entered. As the official footage shows, unless you’re first runner then you walk the inclines. I thought I’d hate it but I cried at the finish as I didn’t want it to end. The flatness of London destroyed my legs today.

Amsterdam would be a good shout. People rave about Manchester, Brighton is great fun but my absolute favourite is Marathon Eryri. Absolutely magical.

Loved London Today! 17 PB and crossed the line listening to Voulez-Vous. When you’re smiling was playing when I crossed Tower Bridge. I lost my shizzle at that point and ugly cried

Today was the day my teenager finally fell fully back in love with football. She’s 10 years in as a season ticket holder and didn’t really understand the enormity of ‘that’ season. I couldn’t go to day but when she messaged me at full time saying ‘I’m fudging buzzing’ I knew she was in love again.

Down in London ready to run tomorrow and I can’t wait for it to be over as I am far too old for this shizzle. Taking a few weeks out and then getting back into proper race mode and restarting the sub 25 mission.

For the first time in months, I’m ridiculously excited about this! Missed todays game as I’m down in London but man, getting updates from my teenager was something else. Do I think there’s another twist in the tale of this season? I actually don’t think there is. To have stuck at the task today - despite it being so ugly at times - I think we’ve tightened the screws and sent the message out.

I’m actually a bit gutted to miss this one. Do we go for the classic Vardy and Albrighton combination or is it time for others to enter the fold. I do find myself questioning the commitment of the players. Is it purely down to tactics or do we have a bunch of players who can’t be arsed to give that extra 10% as they know their future lies elsewhere next season? Maybe it’s just me but I’ve feel that air of arrogance that runs through a lot of these players is in fact toxic because they simply aren’t bothered as they know their pay check is guaranteed.

I really enjoyed today. I know Mads screwed up but I think it took a lot for him to turn to the Kop at half time just as some were telling him how f****** useless he was. He also pulled off a great save in the second half. Wilf concerned me a little today as at time he seemed to run out of steam and desire. Vesty…. I think I love this man. I love his awkwardness but today in those closing few minutes I saw a bloke who actually gave a damn. I really couldn’t fault him today. JJ was great substitution and offered something different to Doyle . These next few weeks are going to be exciting.

This has massively annoyed me as we were going to make a weekend of it. if it reaches 501+ then I’ll have a u16 and adult if that’s of use to anyone. Collection ideally from Hinckley.

Probably shouldn’t make this public but I’m going to Bristol however my only 2 away games this season have been Coventry and Leeds……..

Visit your local bike shop and they can also make sure the bike fits you ok. Can’t remember how much a bike fit costs but it’s 100% worth it

Hours drive so would have made it for half time which in hindsight wouldn’t have been a bad idea.

Hey We drive in from Hinckley. We come up the A47 and then cut through Elmesthorpe to pick up the road into Narborough. We park either at the Saffron Lane Athletics track or by the park on Knighton Lane East. If you get really stuck, give us a shout and we could always sort a lift as it’s only the 2 of us in the car.
