I’m nearly 3 weeks in and still struggling. I’ve ended up on antibiotics as I can’t shift it plus had a sinus infection. I missed my favourite race on Sunday and now feel a bit like what’s the point

I’ve got a 10K in London on Sunday and it’s going to be an absolute disaster

Hit a brick wall with running and haven’t run properly for nearly 2 weeks. This dreadful winter virus that has been about has completing knocked me off my feet. Gave up my marathon place and I’m feeling so demoralised. I’ve got a couple of half marathons on the horizon but thinking about giving them up as well as I can’t get my groove back.

This is exactly the reason why I gave up my marathon place!

I thought he came across really really well and enjoyed listening to him. He was talking about one of the players being sold an ‘obvious dummy’ and how they are making stuff harder for themselves by not reading the game. And comparing the foul throw to that of his 11 year old son playing Sunday league with his mates! Bloody loved him.

Well now, this is a strange feeling

Similar to what another poster has said on here. It’s mine and the teenagers quality time. She doesn’t particularly want to hang out with her mum but apparently having a season ticket makes me ‘cool’ and ok to spend a Saturday with. She’s also created her own little city supporting circle and they meet up at away days so I’d never take that away from her. (She does come back and find me before kick off so I’m not left stranded!) It’s a way of life for us and she knows no different as she’s had her season ticket since she was 4 and me a stupid amount of years. Whether Premier League or League 1 we’ll be there. Yeah I’m p****d with VAR (ruined the game) FFP (or whatever you want to call it) but Leicester are still my team and I’ll follow them around the country no matter what.

I’m hoping Sunday has given the team a boost and the momentum keeps flowing. Feeling relatively confident that 3 points will be ours

It’s mad. I’m going to the European running championships in Belgium and it’s so much cheaper and easier than trying to get to Edinburgh!

Decided to withdraw from Edinburgh marathon as the logistics were becoming a nightmare. Decided to concentrate on half marathons instead this year (although still have an entry for an ultra) so can anyone recommend some decent ones? Already entered Retford and one in Belgium.

Lived in a really small village near Lutterworth and now live in Hinckley. Originally from Northamptonshire but dad is a lifelong Leicester supporter.

I was there Christmas Day and it has got better……

After a really ‘off’ few months I ‘raced’ at Oundle today and I’m good with 27:06 on an undulating bloody freezing cold course. Hoping to get back into the 25 minute bracket sooner rather than later but need to remember that I’m 46

It’s much better now there’s a path around there. It’s my local and I have to admit that I avoid it like the plague however Christmas Day was really good fun there

Do Belvoir Castle before it goes back to its summer course! Market Bosworth is so much better in wet weather as when the ground is dry some of the course can be a little bit ankle turning.

Anyone else secretly hoping that this was a competition where the fans got to name the stands?! I’m quite disappointed
