It may be totally irrational but I absolutely despise them I find the irritating tinny noise they make akin to nails on a blackboard and plus they drown out any other noise. Missed the Roma game due to illness and it was one of the first home games i missed that i was able to watch on tv in full for a while and couldn’t believe how overwhelming the sound of the clappers was, felt like the 2010 world cup and the Vuvuzelas. I’m so glad it’s finally over

I think coming in as 3rd choice with an aging Evans unlikely to play every single week and also likely to miss spells of the season through injury would give him a good assurance of game time, come next season he could well be a starter for us.

I’d imagine so, it’s been fully standing all game for all of the trial runs. When you say two rows from where the section begins are you below it? So row M or lower below the concourse entrance level? If so that section would continue as normal and you should also be able to renew normally?

In fairness when you have clappers and goal music you’re already a laughing stock in the eyes of the cesspit of ‘football twitter’.
