With regards to your comment, people have forgotten how awful Izzet was in 2001/2, that’s because I don’t remember that happening. Patronising someone as being emotional, implies that their argument isn’t valid. My argument as far as I am concerned is valid. You have always championed Maddison and that’s fair enough. I will always be in the Muzzy camp.

Izzet played and performed in the PL for a number years, to a high standard. I think you have shown that you do not rate Izzet and for some reason, have put him in direct competition with Maddison. Muzzy was a brilliant player despite your protestations. Maddison had some excellent games for us without doubt, but I would choose Muzzy any day of the week.

Don’t think that Maddison would have got into the title winning team. Too selfish. Muzzy would have fitted right in, excellent team player.

Here we go, the younger generation (?) generalising and patronising about the older supporters again. I started off in the 60s and we’ve had some great players in that time. I think the PL team is our best ever and I think only Muzzy would get into that team from our successful O’Neil era. Keith Weller was also a brilliant player who walk into almost any team.Just because you didn’t see them play, doesn’t diminish their talent. In Banks we had the best goalie in the world. Don’t agree that he should have been shifted on for others to develop. I think we could all see that Ienacho wasn’t the answer and Daka has little or no aggression to be a striker. Vardy outshines these in all departments and if we hadn’t had him this season, we’d be in a sorry mess. Players stick around longer these days and Vardy is not ready to pack in yet nor does he look like he needs to.

Believe it or not, not everyone under the age of 50 has a Smart phone so will either have to buy the ticket or a new phone. This increase actually bumps up the ST increase percentage. Not against the ticket rise but £25 is a shocking amount to charge. It’s a form of bullying.

I used to like Darren Fletcher as he always mentioned the East Midlands teams. Now I can’t stand him. HE NEVER SHUTS UP! He’s constantly talking to the irritating co commentator woman who’s on with him.

Watching the ridiculous squabbling between Chelsea players last night about who should take the penalty, reminded me of when Vards was on his goal a game run. We had a penalty against Watford, and Mahrez had the ball ready to take it. The crowd were obviously aware of the situation with Vardy and chanted his name. Mahrez handed the ball to him and I think that made number 9 in the list. Vardy duly scored and went straight to Riyad to thank him. Going back to the Chelsea debacle, Jackson also kicked off when they had a penalty against us in the cup, and delayed it by moaning at the ref. Not a good teamwork look.

Not like it’s the 89th minute, but now more likely anything from 95-100!

But we weren’t lucky and fluking last minute winners. I don’t think we had many multi deflected own goals scored for us either.

Remember driving home after the infamous FOAD match. The RL team were beside themselves with excitement as they were reporting that Nigel had hit someone in the stand and was swearing in front of children. They just fell short of saying”We’ve got him now”. Nigel was great for City and didn’t suffer fools gladly.
