  1. Sorry, just saw best ever goal! Wondered why nobody else had chosen it!🤭
  2. Vardy against Liverpool
  3. Enjoying it by being on the pitch engaging with the fans in the stand is a bit different to be surrounded by hundreds jostling you so they can take photos. Apologies for anti atmosphere note, that was another poster.
  4. Do you really think that if the players saw hordes of fans charging towards them, they would stand and wait to be shouldered high or physically mobbed? It just needs one over enthusiastic fan to knock a player over and cause him injury, to spoil it all. Pitch invaders are not the only ones who want to see the team celebrating. If it makes the players charge off down the tunnel then what’s the point, except indulging those who, let’s face it, are probably more interested in their social media pics.they’re waiting to post. Saying it’s anti atmosphere into to want it is too ridiculous for words.
  5. Are we playing American football next season?
  6. According to the commentators, Southampton are best team in the league for; playing out from the back, inviting the other team onto them, counterattacking. Don’t know why they are only in the playoffs.
  7. Just relaxing on a sunny Sunday morning thinking exactly the same thing. So nerve wracking. I remember the 1st one against Blackburn. Considering the position we had been in the year before, I think we were just so grateful to be in that position. Even though we lost, as the Premier League wasn’t the money spinner it is now, I don’t think there was such an enormous feel of loss as there was the next season against Swindon. Will relax and be cheering on Norwich, not too fussed either way for the next one although a much easier journey to WBA. Perhaps there’ll be an inquiry raised if the best team in the league get knocked out🤭.
  8. It’s a generalisation of how you seem to judge who is or isn’t a proper fan.
  9. Of course, if you don’t join in with “Wesley Fofana you’re a ****” or comment on the size of a player’s genitals, you’re obviously not a fan. 🤭
  10. You actually know that the majority weren’t Leicester fans? You managed to assess that fact how?
  11. Why try and deride the thousands of fans who went to the parade? Don’t you think that they were there because actually support the City? Should the crowd have booed the owners and turned their backs to the balcony? It really makes my blood boil when certain fans seem to think that they are the only ones who support the club properly because they talk of not renewing their ST., for some sort of crusading idea. I don’t agree with the £25 charge at all and think it’s a disgrace. I’m not though after a lifetime of being a City fan, going to cut off my nose to spite my face, on a point of principle. To those who do, that’s your prerogative. I would sooner be in my seat again next season than listening to the pundits being only interested in the top 6 when the scores are coming in.
  12. Not sure that’s true. No big deal was made , it was all over in a flash. Didn’t realise at the time what happened till the bloke next to me told me.
  13. I think Jamie may have been a bit worse for wear yesterday and didn’t cover himself in glory, but his action in giving the armband to Marc Albrighton on Saturday, showed how sensitive he was to the situation and what an unselfish and brilliant TEAM player he is.
  14. Why on earth don’t we deserve him. What a pathetic thing to say. He’s been brilliant for us and synonymous with Leicester City. He has received almost total adulation from the fans and returned that affection.Who knows where he would have been without City and Pearson.
  15. Jeez, can’t some of you on here take a 3 day break from criticising anything the club does. Why should Top enjoying the Championship win, mean he doesn’t realise it’s going to be tough next season. Does that mean that the players and fans, who also had smiles on their faces, don’t realise the same thing. Do you think that you’re the only person who does? Have you spent the past week in abject misery? Did you not enjoy the Preston result and crack your face? Or did you just go round saying”we’re doomed, we’re doomed” Many of us are happy to enjoy the moment without having to be seen as morons because we are doing.
  16. From what is posted on this forum, it bothers a lot of people what other fans are doing: leaving early, using clappers, singing/not singing, being old…..
  17. At least we don’t have to worry about other fans slagging off our club. We have plenty of our own doing that.
  18. Like Daka he’s been a likeable man and probably escaped a lot of infield criticism. When he scored his goals during Covid, I think quite a few assists came from Vardy. He did play better with 2 strikers. Unfortunately he seems t9 be quite an unintelligent player and the times he has been caught offside through dawdling back from an attack must be unnecessarily high. Good luck to him wherever he finishes up.
  19. How do you propose we should have celebrated? Give them a polite round of applause and let them have the trophy lift in the dressing room? A lot of fans, as shown by today, were glad to be able to celebrate winning the league, which obviously takes us to the PL. There are so many killjoys on the forum today. Yes we really should have won this game and signed off in style, but the job was done earlier in the week. If you don’t want to accept this success, perhaps you would have been happier if we had finished mid table.
  20. Wow, what a miserable git you are. You won’t be going tomorrow but there are plenty that will be. If you’re so embarrassed by your club, perhaps you should find a team that will stay below the radar and not win anything. Like it or not, we are the champions.
  21. City won 31in 13/14
  22. Yes this. Knowing that when a goal has been scored, if the flag didn’t go up, then it was a goal. No looking at the ref to see if he’s got that look on his face and his finger in his ear!
  23. I have noticed this season in particular, that watching MOTD, a number of times during games, there have been 2 balls on the pitch, causing the game to be stopped, sometimes in crucial positions. It’s not always been clear how the 2nd ball has got there as you only usually see the pitch on TV.But last night, there was a prime example in the Everton match of this happening. Tarkowski was caught out of position on the touch line, a quick throw was taken by Brentford, as Tarkowski was running back onto the pitch, he deliberately kicked a ball from one of the plinths on the edge of the pitch, onto the field. This appeared to slightly disrupt Brentford and 5he ball was kicked out of play by an Everton player. I wish the pundits had highlighted this as it was deliberate cheating. Apparently, this practise came about last season in Holland when a goalie was caught out of play on the touch line after charging out and deliberately kicked another ball onto pitch so he could get back place. I believe he was booked.
