  1. The bastards - infringing on our monopoly!
  2. Almost every time he was given an opportunity under Ranieri and Shakespeare he was a disappointment, with perhaps flashes of brilliance. Yes, he should have had more chances to start, but I don't think anyone should expect to sulk their way into a team. i'm very happy that he's now more established in the side and appears to be showing what he can do, but I wish he'd just shut up and get on with it.
  3. Still think Albrighton could be recycled as a right wing back with a formation change
  4. I used to get those sort of problems on my iPad. Doesn't seem to happen now though. I used to find that using the play/pause button/symbol in the bottom left corner rather than the one in the middle of the screen to stop/start avoided the problem.
  5. Not sure this is a good thing or a bad thing. Good for our strikers, but poor for our midfield I guess.
  6. And this season, vs West Brom for instance
  7. He is starting to look much stronger too
  8. As in "oh crap" or "talking crap"?
  9. Err... seem to have a problem with one of the wheels... I think it fell off a couple of miles back
  10. I seem to remember reading this article when it came out. Sounds great but still needs a visionary to make it all work.
  11. Sound like we ought to try and poach this guy
  12. He didn't say it, or what he said isn't true?
  13. Owners, mangers and players all come and go, the only real identity of a club comes from its fan base and history.
  14. I'd love to see PL clubs fan owned. Totally unrealistic I suppose now that the money men rule everything. Has it ever been tried with a upper tier club?
  15. Just been watching Australia play Syria in the wcq. It struck me how much Aaron Mooy would suit us if we could prise him from Huddersfield. Has such an excellent range of passing, particularly through balls or over the top, but actually to a player, not just a hopeful lump, a bit like Drinkwater before he became shit. I'm sure him and Vardy would strike up a good partnership.
  16. That would effectively make the club worth 100m more in capital value, so could be recovered when sold. A bit like paying off a mortgage.
  17. For those first few matches after he took over it really looked like our title winning team and mentality was still in there somewhere and Shakey had the secret to unlock it. Unfortunately as you say it appears to have been a false dawn and I think we need a fresh look at what can be done with our squad from an outsider. Time to twist.
  18. Actually I quite like him. Probably do better than some fancy big name.
  19. Good summary. Exactly how I feel.
  20. I'll hold my hand up as someone who thought that appointing Shakespeare would provide continuity and be a less risky option than getting an outsider who might upset the applecart. Clearly we now need a completely fresh start by appointing a new manager strong enough to take a fresh look at the players we have and get them organised into a proper team.
  21. You leave Shakey's knockers out of it. Nothing wrong with man-boobs.
  22. Is the missing 10% down to the time the ball was in the air when we were lumping it up?
  23. Chillwell's throw is pretty good too. I thought perhaps Fuchs had been giving him some lessons. Fuchs did once say that it was technique, not strength, so perhaps he is able to pass it on.
