Not necessarily. I sent a parcel, for 2 weeks it was in the depot and didn't move. It was being 'investigated ' but they advised it was probably lost. Then suddenly delivered! That is the first time I've had any issues with Evri. Yodel are a different story.

What a depressing list of prospective captains. Riccy aside but, unfortunately, I've seen stronger paper mache than Riccy these days.

If you're paying £70 for that, you need to see someone to get help. That probably applies to all shirts. £70!

Deal agreed for €9.5 according to TalkSport.

It may well have been. I've been trying to find answers for a mate. I've no idea how Apple stuff works, the prob is neither does he. I'll mention the iCloud sync but I can't im he knows what that is!

Thanks. I was just reading an OLED V QLED comparison, and it does say OLED - Can be more expensive, lower brightness than QLED and Mini LED, potential for burn-in with static images. For QLED - Can have some light blooming (light leakage in dark areas), not as good black levels as OLED. The one we looked at was ULED, so that helps...😂 or it might be mini LED... It also mentions which is best for bright rooms, ours will go in a bright garden room, so that's actually good to know. As with lots of tech stuff these days, there's a massive list of things we just don't need. All we use it for is standard evening tv through a Sky box and the weekend football. I used to like Sky sports news but now it's the same story on the banner repeated every 5 seconds....

Why would a Hisense be frowned upon? We weren't looking for a new TV but have a currys voucher to use and were shown a nice Hisence yesterday. A 55" Ultra HD ULED mini LED. £600. And a 5 year guarantee. Currently have 2 10+ ish year old Samsung 55" 4k curved tv's. One has just developed two small random pixilated dots at the bottom and the Samsung sound table is becoming unreliable. The Hisense we looked at had a built in sub so we'd not need a separate sound bar. As we weren't looking for a new tv I've not done any research but I remembered we had a thread. We'd like 55" and don't think we need larger, good picture and sound are important. Having not looked at tv's for 10 years I'm not sure about what QLED, OLED etc are.

There isn't such a thing as partial mortgages but your mortgage could be in two or three parts. If you took out the original mortgage to buy the house, it's one but then add an additional mortgage for home improvement or extension, it's another one. The dates of your fixed rate may then be different.

Sales assistants that do not listen and continually try to sell you additional products. Went to currys to collect a new computer, just a replacement as the old one died and they had given me a credit voucher for another one. As soon as I was offered a MS product suite and the McAfree protection, I declined and explained I already had packages for everything. Twice she tried again. And to sell me a VPN, power back, mouse mat and on she went. When we got to the till she started again. I'm not sure how many times I said no, I just want the computer. I know they have to try upselling but surely I was clear the first time?

I can't remember where but recently read they'd sold their villa in Portugal for about £8M so, they're probably OK for a few quid for now.

I went to a ticket session today. I asked about the dynamic qr codes as mine is definitely changing in my wallet. The fact it was doing that was a mystery to them. They have the capability to turn it on but unless we're promoted, there's no plan to. If your phone doesn't have NFC you can just scan the qr code. And they did confirm, if you have an iPhone and change phones you need to contact them to get a new link to download the ticket again, it won't transfer over. Apple do not allow it. It will do in a Google wallet.

I went to a digital ticket session today, lots of people commenting on the shirt / sponsor situation. All the replies from the staff there confirmed we had the shirt, but inferred, albeit politely, the sponsor situation was an internal debacle/scramble/fck up!

I was agreeing with much of your post until the last line. Sadly. I don't believer the delay is anything to do with us thinking carefully and more to do with lack of thinking and/or planning.

The email i use for Google pay and the email for my club account are completely different and I didn't have an issue downloading the ST.
-
So, you think that have the club go the information wrong and the apple wallet will retain your ticket on a new phone?
-
If you've got an iPhone, it seems you do. I'm not familiar with apple stuff, but when you change phones, why doesn't everything move over automatically? With my Samsung, when I change phone, I log into my new phone, and it retains all the stuff, settings etc attached to my Samsung account. Farce is a polite description...
-
Just reading the apple instructions and it does say it's different. So every fan with an apple phone has to call the ticket office when they change phone? Perhaps apple restriction?
-
Absolutely...I didn't think you were. I interpreted the sarcasm. It's not that environmental issues aren't important, it's that we know it's a b@llock excuse.
-
I'd rather reuse last years plastic card and sacrifice the clappers, and all the other plastic rubbish generated each game.

It was included in the email with my ST, one for Android and one for iPhone https://tickets.lcfc.com/usercontent/documents/pdf/mobile ticket guide (ANDROID).pdf

How excited are you for the new season?
FoyleFox replied to daddylonglegs's topic in Leicester City Forum
Not at all. I'm looking forward to my pre match met up with mates more. -
Also, according to the instructions, you'll get a notification and then have 90 seconds from opening to scan your ticket. Or, am I misunderstanding? How do we get notification if there's no signal? Our do you not need one for items in your wallet?

The LM site have shared a warning about this. Now, as a news story it's very relevant but they've worded it as though we all need to get up Old John. I'm no expert but I think Leicestershire will be OK.

I logged into the app today, it shows my season ticket renewal info but no option to download the ticket.
