  1. I've hidden the OH's lucky FFC socks and put money on a Fulham win. The rest is up to RVN and the lads... please don't let me down,I know it's unlikely but I'm getting mullered in the household bragging rights* * Although I do frequently mention we've won multiple actual proper trophies v 0 ever for FFC!
  2. I was surprised that more people didn't leave early. I think a lot near us, who walked out when the 2nd Brighton goal went in, hoped for a repeat.
  3. A further visit to The Bull in Broughton Astley confirmed it was as excellent as the last time. I noted a couple of comments on temperature after my complaint about Efes Mangal, where it was freezing not just cold. The restaurant was full and they've a full on fire grill. But, it was still absolutely freezing and you could feel a draft. Most people dining in coats isn't good. When we were seated today it was cool and there weren't many people dining. Understandable as it's a large open area. Half an hour later, a lot more people, warm food etc and it was lovely and warm.
  4. Stepped back*. *Also known as jumped before pushed.
  5. Only visited for a day a day, couple of years ago. Very pleasantly surprised what a nice city it was.
  6. Why have TNT made this weeks fixtures earlier ko's.
  7. Why a random 7.30pm ko?
  8. I'm beginning to doubt that to be true.
  9. Originally the news stories said today but today it's saying tomorrow.
  10. Very surprised that there 28K there. I looked yesterday and it only looked half sold in most areas.
  11. Went to Efes Mangal last night. It was awful. So cold we all had to eat with our coats on. We were a group of 6, 3 were served meals and then 20/25 minutes later the others were served. One ordered steak, which was tepid served with tepid chips, cooked well done instead of medium rare and tough. One person ordered a vegetarian dish, which was served with lamb in. The casserole was served with a fork. My lamb shish and chicken kofte initially came the incorrect way round. Definitely not as nice as Istanbul. So, all in all not a great experience. The bill was adjusted and we did get a complimentary pint.
  12. Absolutely not the holiday inn. My recent 4 hour experience cost nearly £15
  13. I'm now wondering if my Panama Canal booking was wise
  14. Goal Timotei
  15. I'm only half watching Timotei and chums so also Web browsing. Available for further research if required
  16. I've got Google and he's 31. You're welcome 😊 Oh and I'd say he's been around for about 31 years 😂
  17. The comms man for the Fulham v Watford game has a Timotei Castagne playing for Fulham.
  18. Porto is lovely, stayed for 5 or 6 nights when we played them. Found it an unexpectedly great city. Hamburg is also lovely. I can also recommend miniaturewonderland. Book tickets and allow plenty of time. There's a small but good car museum and a Russian submarine that you can tour. I'd comment on the lake tour but we'd been travelling all night, boarded the boat and went to sleep. Missed the whole thing 😂 I'm going back in 3 weeks and weather permitting, will try again. Galway is pretty. Nice beaches and stunning landscapes. It was very flooded the last time I visited so can't recommend or remember much.
  19. I'm not sure the 'bug' wasn't overhyped but a lot of computer programmes didn't work with a date format beyond 99. A lot of IT people did a lot of work to keep things running smoothly. So, in the end no-one noticed any issues. Speaking as someone who spent a good 2 years testing and fixing those systems. Sadly, I wasn't an expensive or well paid consultant.
  20. I'm not sure if it would work from your location but, flying to the US via an airport with USA pre clearance is very beneficial in avoiding queues and checks on arrival.
  21. Yep. It turned out Feb through to Mar 2020 wasn't an ideal time for an Asian cruise! It ended up as a bit of a mystery tour, as we're were declined in a few ports. We were very fortunate the UAE had closed ports but gave us special dispensation to dock, disembark and get home. And, a few days later the UK was in lockdown! It's booked but we've not organised it. It's booked with imagine cruising. A 7 night tour from Shanghai, Xian for the bullet train and then to Beijing. Fly to Hong Kong, sail to Vietnam and Singapore. Fly to Delhi for a 7 night tour in India ( also supposed to visit there in Feb 2020 too 🙄).
  22. I was booked for February 2020. Which, wasn't ideal! Now going for a week in October 2025, tour from Shanghai to Beijing and some other places I can't recall. Probably too late to help you though, I'm sorry.
  23. No, the EV was just an independent purchase and came with a charger, so we didn't get that through them either - not sure if we're on their 'best' customer list, especially as nearly all of our electric consumption is now on the 7p rate
