  1. Is your Tesco near Twickenham? https://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-15299863/James-Martin-Celebrity-Traitors-Joe-Marler-POOED-VIP-Twickenham.html Just why would you do this in a lift or Tesco!
  2. Several friends have mentioned having a variety of awful lurgies recently. The other half has had a debilitating 'productive' cough and little sleep for 3 weeks. Antibiotics and steroids have so far failed to shift it.
  3. Soccer.
  4. We did 3 nights in SF last year and enjoyed it. Also echo Izzy's comments. Definitely areas to avoid, if you're booking a hotel, go for one in the Fisherman's Wharf area.
  5. Blackberry vinegar has been a staple in our family for decades. Dad still makes it to my Grandads recipe. It's absolutely bloody awful stuff. I'm a family outlier there though. Everyone else swears by it. And, yes, some of them used to enjoy it on Yorkshire puddings, too. Personally, I'll stick to honey and lemon in hot water.

    The Weather

We've got actual snow in NW Leicestershire. According to my photo memories thing, this day last year was also our first snow ❄️
  7. Usually it depends on the timescales, some reports and surveys etc have a limited shelf life.
  8. The words normal and LCFC have never belonged in the same sentence.
  9. Had anyone been to Senegal or Gambia? I'm looking for a winner sun beach break early next year. Egypt and Cape Verde aren't necessarily warm enough in January so looking for alternatives without a long haul or indirect flight.

    And Westlife
  11. After spending 5 days in India, I'm not sure I'm ever going to complain about our roads and drivers again (I will obviously). I've never seen anything like it. 6 rows of cars in 4 lanes, white lines are for guidance according to the guide. Missed your exit on the high way, no worries, just exit down the entry slip. It's actually insane.
  12. I mistakenly assumed that everyone does research for their trips. Everyone here, my real life mates and I always do a lot of it. However, I'm currently away on an organised trip. Out of 40 people there were only 6 of us who hadn't got a full Chinese visa as our trip qualified for the new visa free option. The people who paid out £200-£500 each for a full visa weren't amused.... but hadn't looked it up! Currently sat in Hong Kong harbour and not sailing on the ship I embarked yesterday due to a typhoon.

    Dogs

Bizzarly our spaniel was rejected as a working gun dog due to being gun shy, he jumped at text message type notifications when we got him but has never reacted to fireworks.
  14. Those figures are definitely incorrect. We've had a number of empty seats in front of us most games this season and you can see significant areas of space at games. The ko times haven't helped. Against Wrexham only 2 of us from our group of 9 attended. I'm away for the next 3 games, listed for resale but they won't sell because it's not sold out in other categories. And, due to the ko times, friends can't attend.
  15. We could also be singing this to you How is the arm now?
  16. We've had a pond for 4 years now, never seen a frog. We do have goldfish which are gold, though.
  17. I've added Google messages and Telegram. I'll have to just hope they work. I'm not sure they are that bothered about my arrived safely messages but I like the reassurance that they could give someone the phone to contact me in an emergency. Although, that's assuming I've set up my eSim and VPN properly, which I'm not sure about either
  18. Unfortunately, that's not an option as they don't have a computer or WiFi.... they can't actually use the smartphone I left but I set up a widget so the WhatsApp messages automatically display. They could just read my 'arrived safely' messages. According to Google , Google messages works on WiFi. If I'm away, I usually only have WiFi. Although, I've bought an ESim for this trip but no idea if it'll work until I arrive.
  19. Does anyone know of a messenger app that's like WhatsApp but not WhatsApp? I used to leave my parents an old Samsung Note with WhatsApp on while I'm on holiday. They can't use it but could read the messages and in an emergency someone else could use it contact me. I've gone to set it up today and WhatsApp auto updated, and the phone is no longer compatible. I can sort out a replacement phone but wondered if anyone used or knew of anything else?
  20. Both colour differences are the lighting/poor photographer Although the two pinks are probably less different than on a real one, thankfully.
  21. St Helens in Ashby. I'm not sure on the private prices but they often have periods open to take on NHS patients.
  22. Soccer jerseys, I think were the store/provider.
  23. After 7 weeks my dhgate shirt finally arrived. No complaints at all. A few mentioned they run a bit small, that's definitely not the case with mine.
  24. It's definitely easier if you can select a compatible charger instead. Have you already got your charger or are you getting a new one with the company car?
