  1. A mate just tried to screenshot their away ticket for Liverpool, a 'screenshot disabled for security reasons' message pops up and 'codes change frequently for security reasons'. Is sounds like the away tickets already are, unless it's just because Liverpool have already gone dynamic?
  2. If it wasn't for the fact that 8 of us, now in different locations, use pre match as our regular meet up, I don't think any of us would bother.
  3. So, we receive an email instead of a card and download each ticket into a wallet on your phone? What wallet? If people share a ticket can you share the email? An, what happens if you change phone mid season?
  4. My mate is the same, shares a ticket as they both live away. Where is this wallet? Do you log into your LCFC account or the app and the ticket appears? If that's the process, sharing log in details, shares the tickets?
  5. Another vote for Ryanair. As long as you read the details and comply with what you've booked, it's grand. Unfortunately, people don't and then complain. These are the same people who are surprised they can't take 500ml bottles of shampoo through security and are still wearing a belt going through the scanner Will give the bloke who was surprised he was his denied 4 x cans of lager at security, who promptly stood a drank them a 'fair play' Also, another vote for Emirates, used Etihad last year and quite disappointed as, I expected them to be on par.
  6. How did you get on with your Dad's visit and the survey report?
  7. Cheers. Further googling, and it seems up to about a year ago, there was an exception for Cape Verde, but now it's changed.
  8. Did you book with TUI? If so, did you get a meal included on the flight. We've just been looking and found 2 different responses on TUI websites.
  9. Zero units of gas were consumed between 8am and 3pm, which I assume (always dangerous, I appreciate) some would be, even if the stat was on low to run the pump? We can see the heating was first switched on just after 3pm and they left at 3.30pm The installer was careless enough not to install the valves correctly, causing a leak and resulting in half the utility room needing to be replaced, so, I couldn't rule that out. And, changing his story on what he did or didn't do has created a significant lack of trust. It may well have been flushed properly and it's just unfortunate but he's not explained anything adequately enough to believe that. We didn't have a header tank and it definitely wasn't from the upstairs radiators, as it's a bungalow No, it's not a complete block, it's intermittent, which is more frustrating, you never know if you'll be waking up warm or not. And, having played boiler roulette with the old one's fan not always firing up, we hoped a new one would eradicate the will it/won't it work situation. Checking the filter is now on today's to do list. Adding some X400 is a very good idea, although I don't want to do anything too much to it as I've reported it again and especially until they've settled up for the utility repairs, as there is several £k of damage to fix.
  10. Can't we, the Europeans, gazump with a minerals deal of our own? Zelensky gets a deal and we pi$$ the orange tw@t off. Everyone's a winner
  11. The system and rads were all working fine prior to the swap, they all got hot every time the heating fired up. They all worked on install day and for a few days after. The only issue we had was with the boiler fan, old age so didn't always fire up and, given the age of the boiler, it wasn't worth just replacing the fan. We turn off the rads to get the non-working ones working, that usually sorts it but, then the next time the heating fires up, they don't always work. Fine yesterday morning, but not in the evening. We've been doing this for over 2 weeks now. The plumber came back 3 weeks ago (to look at the leak damage) and rebalanced them, for the second time, but the problem persists. With the flush, we know from our energy stats the heating only went on 30 minutes before they left, so, hoped it needed to go on to circulate the chemical. If the pump can do it, that's killed that theory. Said plumber has given different and vague answers regarding the flush process he did, so it's adding to our scepticism and debris would explain the rad issue. It was just a theory. I've just emailed the quotes for the replacement / repair work required in the utility, with an update the rads aren't working again. I'll await their next plan. Cheers for the advice.
  12. Thanks. The cleaner used was ADEY MC3. It definitely wasn't a power flush, just the chemical one. Although, we're sceptical that they actually did it. Depending on your answer to the question below, we may be able to prove they didn't. The instructions for the MC3 are: How to use Introduce MC3+ to the system via the filling loop or radiator using a suitable injector, or via a MagnaClean® filter. Clean and flush the system as recommended in BS7593 using ADEY MagnaCleanse® and MC3+. Following the cleanse, drain and flush thoroughly until the water runs clear. Refill the system and add the correct dosage of MC1+ for the optimum protection against the build-up of corrosion and limescale. MC3+ Cleaner should be circulated in the system for a minimum of 1 hour and up to 28 days. BIB - Can you flush/circulate just using the pump or do you need to switch the heating on to do it? We've got microbore 8/10mm pipes to the rads, which are all probably too old to survive a power flush - 20+ years. But, we do have a boiler filter.
  13. Are any of you qualified plumbers? If you do a chemical flush on a central heating system following a new boiler installation, do you need to attend to each rad as it's happening? We and the builder did a flush when we had kitchen work and new rads a couple of years ago, I think it involved heating the system, checking/bleeding each rad, draining and refilling. Reheating the system. When our new boiler was installed, they claimed to have completed a chemical flush, but we know the above steps weren't done. Are they an absolute necessity? Some of our rads are no longer heating up, which makes us think there is debris from the boiler install. The installer claims he did do the flush. (Same installed didn't tighten the boiler valves, causing a leak and ruining the recently fitted utility room, so I'm sceptical on his competence).
  14. Great to hear, I'll be on my first visit there in another 16 days. Although, Boa Vista rather than Sal.
  15. Not needed, it was me. After the second reading, I noticed the author credit. There's been a lot to digest this morning, and I'd only had one coffee at that point!
  16. Contemplating going back to bed and seeing if it's any better when I wake up again. A nightmare has to end at some point? Not least because I read the post from @davieG and actually though he was on the frontline in Ukraine
  17. If it has got untreated subsidence, the vendor will then need to declare that in the property particulars. That will put a lot of potential buyers off due to the mortgage issues and the fact they might need £20k+ to fix it. Just read your new post, yes, potentially they could get it fixed on the insurance. You could include that as an extra condition of the purchase.
  18. I'd be unsurprised if the 'national treasure' status of a couple of those names listed is still intact after they pass.
  19. I would double-check with your golf mate that he did actually state subsidence and get his opinion on the severity, if he did. It could be a reasonably small, fixable issue due to trees or whatever but, if it's got serious subsidence issues, that's a really expensive big red flag. I'd be finding that out for certain before the report next week. The other stuff is lots of work, upheaval and money but, it sounds as though it could be worth it. Daunting but worth it.
  20. I'm with Octopus and completely agree.
  21. I've not used JustPark but have used YourParkingSpace.com, parked in Morrison's car park for 2 nights to attend a wedding, somewhere down 'sarf'. Parked in Asda Wolverhampton for the match last night and Morrisons Leicester for a concert at 02 Academy. It's usually controlled by ANPR, your registration will be on the database as approved. So, no issues to report, in my experience.
  22. I had a test drive in a Telsa when we were considering an EV, I was very disappointed with the interior. It's so stark and drab. The drive was fairly good, but the suspension is, I'll be kind and call it 'quite firm'. Lots of other EV's have a similar interior to an ICE car. The I-pace has the same interior as a ICE Jaguar and that was a significant factor in my purchase. The heated everything and ability to start preheating remotely after a very cold match is a joy
  23. All I can recall about my visit to Salzburg, some 35+ years ago, is that everything, absolutely everything, had a picture of Mozart on it.
  24. Wow! That's an impressive security list - do you work in counter terror/security services? My old neighbour had to have his house security proofed due to a threat from dissident republicans, and didn't get that lot. Mind you, he did have a gun so, there was that extra protection
  25. No, thankfully his contract ends June 2025.
