Egypt in the summer will be very hot! I've been to Sharm several times, great for a well priced beach break. Hotels are great and competitively priced. Although most of the food ago tastes the same 😆😂 The snorkeling/diving is fantastic. Just returned from a Nile cruise and a week near Hurghada. And it was very warm for sightseeing already. We were offered the option of a flight to see the pyramids before going to the hotel. We didn't book as we're supposed to be going in April next year. A possible option to explore if you want a beach and to do the pyramids?

I think I've chosen a good week to be on holiday with limited Internet time.

Initially I was thinking WTF, that's outrageous but then remembered that it cost £200 for a new battery in our car, 3 years ago. The labour was no doubt an absolute rip off but I'm guessing a van battery isn't cheap. But it's a charity van. Whoever is in charge at your charity should raise it with Paynes, a free/reduced battery as a gesture of good will isn't reasonable.

It's just ridiculous. My parents have just had their renewal. Last year it was £465, this year £849. The best price on any comparison site I looked at was £1080. They've got a 5 year old 1.0l VW UP. Scandalous!

Agreed but I can't imagine anyone intentionally would, and I have absolutely no experience of interaction with or looking after children. But, only a day or so ago I was out shopping, a small child came tearing past, followed soon after by a frantic parent. So, I can only imagine it's not unusual for a toddler to run off and disappear in the blink of an eye. And, unfortunately that's probably all the time it takes.
