Giroud played a dozen seasons in England and Italy and never scored more than 16 league goals in a season, so yes he was not prolific. He might score 4 in a row and then not score again for 15 games. He played more games for France than Henry, but they do have a similar goals per game record. So no ‘mad disrespect’, good player, but just not a top striker.

One of the strangest careers ever. A striker, but never a prolific goalscorer, who played at some top clubs and won a ton of medals, but will imo never be considered a top player.
