That was the most disappointing aspect for me too. We seemed happy to play keep ball at 0-2 with 20 mins left. We didn't lay a glove on them and didn't seem to want to even throw a punch.

Feels shit after yesterday but I think matching West Brom over their Charlton & Oxford, while we had Boro and Norwich is more favourable for us than it is them. This team needs a scruffy 1-0 desperately though.
-
I feel like he took a different approach yesterday. Like he was trying to get the clean sheet monkey off our backs and we were much less adventurous going forward. On the face of it it was awful, and Norwich were pretty comfortable, but they're in decent form and that was the lowest xG they've created for the last 6 games. Feels desperate at the moment but I do think James and Lascelles getting back, will see us pick up more points this month.

Oh god, they're still gonna clap the montage when we're sitting 17th in league 1 aren't they.

Just seeing this as a guaranteed loss. Would be happy for us to do a Newcastle Away Dean Smith style just to try and get a clean sheet. The run of games following this one and up to Portsmouth will determine where we're playing next season. -
Easy to forget this is just from 1 week too. Seen more fight, spirit, and organisation than any other point in the season. Last night gave me a lot of hope.

Point away at Boro when relegation rivals haven't managed more in "easier" fixtures. Happy with that.
-
No yellow for that?
-
Boro were the better side but we look much more structured and organised already. Some confidence since the goal too.
-
Whether it's a good point or not will not be determined over the next week. We'll only know once the full time whistle has gone against Blackburn.
-
Sounds like West Brom may be about to sack Ramsey
-
First half was the team we've seen all season. Second half was much improved. I think adding James, Fatawu, and Lascelles into that team helps too, so need those back. Baby steps.
-
How did we not nick that
-
His earlier one was a sitter, but Mav used the defender their to guide his shot. Couldn't have done much more.
-
Good celebration from all there too. Lot of fight and energy this half. Not sure what the **** the first half was but this is better.

Don't see how it would make sense for any increase in penalty as it wouldn't really mean a fair appeals process was in place. You'd have to argue that the appeal was extremely frivolous, which will never happen given what is at stake and the complexity of the case. Makes sense to appeal.

Feels like the right appointment for what we need now (well, 3 weeks ago). Can't see it having a shelf life beyond 18 months, but think both us and Rowett could get a decent 18 months together before parting ways. Goal is to survive this season and stabilise next I think. Don't think we can have any ambitions beyond that right now.

Each to their own.... Leicester City belongs to all of us

Respecting your fellow fans is a good message, but it applies both ways. I've seen unnecessary name calling of people who have renewed season tickets and continued to go to games, but equally have seen abuse towards people who dare question King Power too. I think this is an amalgamation of everything going on at the club at the moment. Fans are hurting and lashing out, sadly this is often misdirected. -
Realistic Managerial Replacements

There are numerous issues at the moment, obviously, but the fact that we are still without a manager is absolutely astounding. A relegation rival has sacked a current and installed a new manager while we've been ****ing around hoping King would get a win or two. The exact same mistake that was made in 22/23. An absolute shambles. Nothing has been learnt by these utter morons. -
You can say that again.
-
I was probably in the camp of just about scraping safety before tonight. Now, we're down. And it's not just the result but the manner. I think a crappy 0-2 would be recoverable from. But not that. We're gone.
-
If you wanted to try and squeeze some optimism out of those fixtures, you'd also point to previous results as you did for Oxford, Blackburn, Charlton, Portsmouth. We beat Norwich, Stoke, and Ipswich. And were a minute or so away from beating Boro too. Admittedly it feels like we're a bit ****ed until James is back. But with the new faces, potential for us to keep 11 on the pitch for 90 mins, and maybe even a new manager, I wouldn't be throwing in the towel just yet.

Realistic Managerial Replacements

Smith did shake things up and certainly gave us a chance to stay up which didn't seem to exist under Rodgers. This seemed to be mostly a recognition that he only had a limited number of games and so was willing to try something different. I would say the success was, at best, mixed though. We only managed wins against Wolves and an on the beach West Ham. The matches against those around us in Leeds and Everton only garnered draws. And we put in an absolute shit show of a performance against a depleted Fulham side. -

Can't wait to see Daka play on the wing again. -
The huge rebuild that is needed would be significantly more difficult if we do go down. I think the 6 point deduction means we'll have enough to just about drag ourselves over the line, but doubt it will be pretty. Hard to judge which fixtures will be easy or difficult towards the end of the season as some teams end up on the beach, or rotating ready for playoffs. I think 5 wins keeps us up.
