I drive a fully electric car. I have just found out today that in order to not pay the London congestion tax, I have to register my EV with TfL. And upload my V5 to their system. I have to pay them, each year, and do the admin. For driving my EV. That is (currently) exempt from the tax. I think that over-promoted cvnt of mayor mistakenly thinks he owns London. I’m half thinking of taking a deliberate hit, take it to court and challenge it. I can’t see anywhere that it has been legally challenged previously. He really is fvcking detestable.

Currently at the Bombay Bicycle Club gig in Brighton*. Bit dull, with a few highlight moments. Better live than they are recorded…but still a bit musical wallpaper for my taste. *under duress

Well obviously I hope you're correct. But we saw the chaos of him being booted out last time - why do we think it would be any different after he's had another 4 years of power? Re the bolded bit - isn't there a way of bypassing congress and the states vote on amendments? Anyway, I hope it doesn't come to pass. But there is nothing that's happened previously that fills me with any confidence that he won't spend 4 years working on ways to dismantle the process that would kick him out.

What @FoxesDeb said! We did something similar when the kids were younger - The company was called Les Castels and we stayed at their St Malo site in a log cabin. Really nice and was pretty easy to get to. At the time, it was less than half the price of Center Parcs. Likely to get better weather and the journey was a bit of fun. Friends of ours often go to the Center Parcs in Belgium as it’s cheaper, and again, pretty easy to get to.

Thanks - I looked at going to a Bronco's game last time, so might do that. (Not sure I could manage a baseball game)! Good shout for the others, I'll check them out much appreciated Haha - it's an interesting shout. I saw a couple of market stalls advertising it along the highway - but they only took crypto!

Off to Denver in the summer. Was there last year and did Estes Park and Denver Zoo as day trips. Also did a brewery tour and white water rafting. I don’t particularly want to go again (family obligation), but if anyone has been and has any ideas of something to keep me and the family occupied, I’m all ears.
