I’ve only just found out that the Tesla model numbers spell out S3XY Clearly I’m late to the party, but he really is a bit of a tool, isn’t he??!

Just taken delivery of a new toy. Anyone with any experience? Happy to hear of what to do/not to do..! (Apart from not to use it in the kitchen floor, obviously).

On a similar note, anyone know why its significantly cheaper to buy Silverstone tickets from StubHub Ireland that StubHub UK? For example, Village A Row K, seat 138 is £299 (€353) on the Irish site and the same ticket is £360 on the UK site. I assume it's a VAT thing (?), but it doesn't look like you would be charged VAT if purchasing from the Irish site.

I've never been, and kind of want to do it properly...but none of my mates will fork out for the hospitality. And doing the hospitality thing on my own doesn't really appeal. Direct train from Euston to Wolverton, apparently. Takes about an hour. (Or the other option is to bunk up with a local. And by that I mean @tom27111, obviously)! Weather seems like it'll be ok - I think I'll make a late call on it. I need to do it at least once!

Anyone going to Silverstone?

Have you listened to his Dr Who audio dramas? Loads of new material - he’s still going strong at 90!!

Ha - wtf has prompted this?? UHT is either Ultra Heat Treatment or Ultra High Temperature. Both work. Depends what you want to do, but usually 135 degrees for a second or so. (Think about that for a moment. How to heat huuuuuge quantities of milk to such a specific time and temperature). Big fvck off tanks that force the milk through a heated, pressurised tube to the time and temp required. It’s then chilled via a glycol counter chiller into new tanks and then packaged. No pathogens or spoilage bacteria. Tastes shit, but lasts forever.

I’d never heard of Darwin’s, so I thought I’d give them a try and see if they could beat what I’m currently paying with the AA. Turns out I would be £900 MORE a year with them! 😲 I swear they all just make it up as they go along.

I reckon. Depends on what carnage occurs at the start…will then have a better picture. Live Monaco, even though it’s not the best circuit for racing. I’ve walked it a few times…next tick box is to watch it from the comfort of a nice yacht!

@bovril If you head a few train stops further south you’re more than welcome to try some of this… (I’m not a huge fan of the cloudy/hazy stuff if truth be told). This is a very enjoyable (and clear) home brew Amber Ale 5% with kind of Elvis Juice notes.

Ahh! Really nice way to spend an early afternoon. But I think they’ve probably had better ones on Didn’t see the Red Willow. (Didn’t see much after the 5th pint, tbh)

It’s ridiculous. Check out the legal definition of ‘parking’ in some case law appeals. I’m pretty sure it would refer to the car coming to a halt. So if you’re driving around looking for a space you are not technically parking. And then check the wording on the charge that you have got and the signage at the car park - if either refer to parking then you can happily point out that you were not, in fact, parked! (I assume it’s not a private car park? If it is, check out the new COP’s for grace periods and enforcement).

What’s the wording on the ticket?
