  1. It's a massive difference in terms of who did and didn't get relegated.
  2. It’s just proving it, without some good evidence (him admitting he purposely tried to hurt him) could set a dangerous precedent. It is after all a sport where rough contact is expected by all taking part. Imagine tripping someone in football and they fall and break their neck? I suppose the big difference is they have dangerous weapons strapped to their feed so there should be an extra level of caution and care. They have clearly been speaking to players whether current or ex from what they said. And you’d have to think they’ve all said he’s gone for him.
  3. Push someone and they bang their head and die you are getting a few years in prison quite likely whether you meant to or not It’s different here as it’s a physical sport, so proving it was anything outside of normal physical contact is almost impossible. I can’t see him getting done for it, unless he had at some point admitted kicking out at him to stop him. He didn’t mean to injure him I’m sure, but I really do think he went to block / trip him And it went disastrously wrong. The more and more I watch it, it’s not a natural movement from contact or balance.
  4. Well at least our lead is “insurmountable”
  5. Because we've made a pigs ear of it. The lack of transparency, the pressure for quick decisions. The over complication of simple laws which seems to add even more personal interpretation, the lack of consistency.

    Art

What sort? Painting, drawing, messing your bedroom up and calling it modern art?
  7. I need to dig out the list I made. I think we’ve had two “nothing mental happened” seasons in the last 30 years.
  8. Living dangerously
  9. Please rephrase
  10. Shocking at the moment. Every time him and Vardy touch it we lose possession. Guaranteed goal and assist now.
  11. The amount of space we let them have is ridiculous.
  12. I generally shorten the time and lower the temperature. Let's say you have a breaded fish that says do it in the over on 200 for 20 minutes. I'd do it for about 17 minutes at 180. If you followed general guides on packets and recipes for conventional ovens, it will just end up dry.
  13. Only time the oven goes on these days is for a large roast, or a pizza. Outside of that it's air fryer all the way. Must have paid for itself 5 times over.
  14. Well I think there is a difference between confidence and the arrogance of thinking it's "insurmountable".
  15. You could argue that psychologically we could switch off. Until there is no longer a chance, there is a chance. And we are SO far away from the end of the season and SO many points to play for, I just hate the assumption it's done.
  16. There would be 31 games and 93 points to play for. Can people stop with the "insurmountable" stuff because it's in no way shape or form impossible to overcome. It's almost like people have forgotten the points swing we had against Man U only a few seasons ago.
  17. “I’ve loved playing for this club, it’s been perfect for me and my career and I want to be here for a long time to come. I couldn’t be happier,” That was August 2016 after signing a new big money deal, whilst knowing full well he’d be going Chelsea the second we were out of a the champions league. It really does stick in the throat these guys are happy to take the money and then whinge the second the clubs ask they see through a few years of a contract.
  18. Not so much impacting me, but I'm astonished at the amount of people on social media who comment on dash cam videos, who seem to think "Getting there first" supersedes the actual rules of the road. Eg. You are approaching a "Give way to oncoming traffic" traffic calming. Apparently, you don't have to give way so long as you "Get there first". Another example being a roundabout, don't worry about "give way to the right", just "Get there first" and they have to give way to you.
  19. No great revelations to be honest. Probably heard most of it before.
  20. Again, nobody is suggesting he wanted that outcome. But it’s not beyond the realms of possibly that he went to trip or block it with the leg and misjudged it massively.
  21. Nobody is suggesting he wanted THIS outcome. But to suggest no player would intentionally go out to hurt a player, or at least be exceptionally rough.... in hockey?????????
  22. I know there was, I've seen it. The opposition player knew he was coming inside and went to leave his man, there was a very slight coming together and his left leg went into the air. If that was football, I was say he'd deliberately hung a leg out to impede the opponent. I'm going to give him the benefit of the doubt, because it's entirely different on ice in terms of balance etc. Of course he without question never meant for this outcome, but to the untrained eye it doesn't look great.
  23. Social care. My partner has a brother in care as he's severely disabled and it costs about £6k a month. Her father is currently self funding for a care home, if and when he runs out of money that shall be another £5000+ per month. So that's £11,000 a month on just two people potentially.
  24. Hmmm not a hockey fan or someone who has skated, but there is a hint of intention with how his leg ended up there after a check by another player. I really really hope not, and without ever having skated it's hard to know how you go about keeping balance etc.
  25. Anyone thinking this was a forgone conclusion was not basing is on facts.
