When we were doing well, the likes of Walsh, and McKenzie loved talking about how and why we do things the way we do... let's see how open and transparent those clubs are when things go wrong, and they are getting slaughtered for everything left right and centre.

I'm not sure anyone is saying they are wrong, because the simple fact is none of us know. But the fact is they don't know either; it's guesswork, and they purposely use certain non-committal language.

Well we could have spent absolutely nothing, stayed in the Championship and been potentially in an even worse situation without premier league money. We could have come up and spent absoultely nothing and banked all the cash. The reality is, getting relegated was never even considered when budgeting. So the gaps between compliance and what we could achieve were vast. It's like turning round an oil tanker because players are on contracts that you can't just stop paying. It's a balance between having a total fire sale and giving up being competitive, or trying to cut back whilst also remaining competitive. It's not an easy one to strike, I would have preferred us to come up, bank the money and plan for next season by buying the cream of talent at that level. We've neither really given it a go at staying up, or planned for next season, which is my issue. But financially, as I said it's always going to take time to correct. You are measured over a number of years, you might have done all you can possibly do and still fail because of numbers you posted 3 years ago, for instance.

Well it's not really is it. We got relegated when making massive losses, compounding what was already a problem. It was always going to take years to correct the issues we had.

The costs also get spread over the length of the contract, so they don't even make THAT much difference, even if they counted.

Of course we're vulnerable, we were relying on sales of players and basically selling our manager to pass, it doesn't mean we have failed. And he certainly doesn't have a scooby doo whether we will or won't pass. He's using languange that's good for clicks. "Leicester may or may not face PSR charge" doesn't really bring in the clicks does it.

The very same people, in the same articles also said she attends premier league meetings as our rep and has got involved in numerous transfers. She's on the board, whereas Rudkin is not. Also, she's the CEO. Of course, she's involved in football matters now... are those football matters picking scouts or coaches, discussing the style of play, and sorting out pre-season fixtures etc.? No, it's highly likely she also has minimal input. But there are going to be crossovers when it comes to money, she signs off the accounts, she's the one making statements on the accounts. Clearly she's going to have a large input on budgets and the like. She's our rep at premier league meetings, has always taken an active and well-respected role there (so we are told), and almost everything going on there is going to impact the football side of the club. What's classed as football can be split down into numerous categories.

Sigh... there isn't a single website that's accurate on salaries because that information isn't available to anyone; it's all pure guesswork.

Obviously lots of very very lucky people… or people who have friends on the staff.

I’ve seen pictures on social, of groups of 3 or 4 people with him… either they’ve been beyond lucky or it looks like people just rocked up as families and were allowed to do it.

Simple you do it in groups. Of course there needs to be some cut off and they are just creating a headache. Eg how do you prove you are all related etc (should be easy enough with connected family accounts). But there is a number that’s going to satisfy 99% of people, compared to just one person, which clearly leaves the vast majority frustrated.

They have said as much. They can’t get overly specific as one man’s hobbyist is another man’s spy. You can’t prove it definitively without catching them red handed.

This has been said before I believe, they aren’t allowed to just shoot them down from what I remember reading. They have to pass a certain criteria before action can be taken.

Absolutely nothing; there are huge numbers of drone users who like to purposely get a rise out of people because most don't know the rules. I'd wager the vast majority are just your usual hobbyists / wind-up merchants out flying to get a reaction.

Shrinking... really enjoy the show, the characters have ups and downs but it's one of them that generally leaves you with a warm fuzzy feeling as thinks work out.

I get their reasoning, but they really should be thinking about siblings, shouldn't they, before even running the competition. Especially when you're doing it at Christmas and not the middle of the year. Merry Christmas son, squeeze your face up close to the widow and you might see the brother you already slightly despise get a photo with a club legend.

Shame, used to like a night out down there in the days of Pump and Tap, O Bar, Loaf, Looking Glass... maybe even Sumo (early days, went to shit). Mental that those nights for me were 20+ years ago.
