Dominant 1st half, but then Nelson gets injured and Luke gets moved to CB. Woyo looked good higher up the pitch but is too loose to be trusted as a LB. Bobby isn't a striker, but we all knew that, yet Russell played Cullen as a 10 (supposedly our new striker) and bobby as a 9. That's not his fault, that's on Russell. If he sees Cullen as a 10, Otchere has to play as the striker.

Exactly. Vincent Kompany is the prime example. He excelled with Burnley in the Championship and now with Bayern, when his teams can dominate. In the PL, his Burnley team barely got 23/24pts.

If getting Swansea hand me downs isn't embarrassing enough, we're paying a reputed total of 3M for it. It's too expensive especially since we dont have a pot to piss in. I don't think we've learnt anything from the Ayew/Winks debacle.

He's a LW. Mavs/ Bobby could be going, or he could just be competition.

West Ham also bid around 10M a few years back. I actually think Luke is fine for L1, but this lads not coming here to sit on the bench. Woyo will leave on loan again, unless Russell sees him as a LW.

Good for him. We're seen JJ thrive once he left us as has Perez. Daka may just be another one.

Woyo looks great going forward but I think he'll leave plenty of space for us to get attacked in. Actually looks like a winger more then a LB.

Okoli with the strength of a wet paper bag. How much longer do we have to put up with him.

Youngsters pressing like little demons. Good half with some good attacking play.

This is going to be like a typical game for us. We've been pressed in defence and we've just coughed the ball. So many times our wingers are free and we're just pissing about in defence.

Whats the point of Hamza as a CAM, completely useless.

Good move all round. We make a profit, and judging by how crazy the transfer fees are, Ipswich have got a good player for a decent price.

Sadly he doesn't want to be here, which is a shame because I think he'll thrive next to Souttar. We either let him leave for free next season or get what we can now.

I think Russell has been pleasantly surprised how good the academy lads are and how quickly they've adapted to his style. In the end of the day, you only know the calibre of managers/players, once the season starts and things dont go your way. How will the young players cope going on a losing streak, how will Russell adapt? Who knows but let's enjoy winning and seeing Seagrave bear fruit.

The academy kids made the experienced ones look ordinary. Faes, Skipp and Okoli all poor. Mavs grew into the game and Luke was ok. I can see a game where we just play all our academy players, maybe with the addition of Souttar.

Youngsters look good whilst our more established players like Skipp and Mav look ordinary.

Plays more like a box to box mf. Made the same runs threw the middle last game too.

Hope we dont use him as a stop gap, putting him in positions where we don't have anybody else and stunting his growth. I'd rather have Mavididi on the RW and tell him to take his fullback on, instead of always cutting inside onto his right foot and losing the ball.

It's not a transfer window unless we get some dogshit player from Southampton. 2yrs of wasted salary.

Lots of sideways and backward passing. Still can't understand why teams pass backwards when they have a chance to counter. Faes and Hamza, carrying on from where they left off. Both are shit.

True, we in England are obsessed with 6ft+ midfielders, whereas in Spain they put far more emphasis on technical ability. I really want Alves to do well, more so then anything, because of the heinous tackle and subsequent injuries he's suffered. Hopefully this is his season.

Nelson has been pretty terrible but I still think he can come good with a solid pro like Souttar next to him. Always seems very nervous, not sure why, but Okoli next to him may be the cause. The hope is he stays, plays well beside Souttar, we get promoted and he signs an extension.

Maybe it goes back to last year when Tuchel called Jude's behaviour repulsive , but there's definitely an ego clash going on between the two. Tuchel knew it, that's why he started playing Roger's as a 10, before the WC. Now Jude knows he's undroppable, he's dismissed Tuchel's views as "whatever" and doubled down on it later by saying he (Tuchel) doesn't know how it is to play in those conditions.

Vesty gone, Ayew gone, Daka gone and now Winks gone. All we need now is for Faes to f*ck off and make this an outstanding window.

Referee looks like Robocop
