I'm looking forward to the Utd game. We were pretty good against Arsenal until Shakey made his subs and today we swotted Brighton away without breaking into a sweat. It's going to be interesting to see where we are against the best.

i think Ashley gets a rough ride when it comes to spending. Newcastle were one of the biggest spenders in the PL in the 2015-16 season but still got relegated. His problem seems to be that he (and his board) know nothing about football, evidenced by when he sacked fat Sam.

I though he was pretty ordinary today and way below his normal self defensively. We all know going forward he offers next to nothing, but still his 1st touch today was awful. Twice in injury time he was near the half way line and just kicked/ headed the ball out with no player near him. We missed our chance with Fosu Mensah, so Simpson is a guaranteed starter.

Although the loan isn't surprising its strange that Shakey wanted him in the team end of last season, but then gave him zero mins in pre season and loaned him out as soon as he could.

The last set of Seth Rich's DNC emails given to wikileaks was facilitated by former British Ambassador to Ukraine, Criag Murray. Of course you're never going to hear about this from the Clinton News Network, or any MSM news oulet for that matter, because they're all in bed together. Unfortunately this is just the tip of the ice berg and this corruption runs so deep that if the truth came out the Dems and even the Reps will be destroyed, hence you see the Russian hacking narrative.

This seems to be Amartey's biggest problem. He shadows players without doing much else. Doesn't tackle or intercept the pass. I was also surprised for a big lad how ineffectual he was in trying to get the ball back, Dembele and Wanyama just swotted him away like a fly.

Exactly, but atleast Benny's poor performances are interwined with good ones. Amartey, apart from the Swansea home game, has been poor pretty much every game. Infact hes looked progressively worst as the season has gone on. Unfortunately he's just not PL standard.

Had Wlad 2 up personally, not that it mattered. AJ got off the floor and showed the heart of a champion and a pretty good chin. He's a real humble and classy guy, unlike a lot of boxers, and this is only the start. He'll get better with experience.

Its pretty simple with Gray, we either use him or lose him. Regarding Mahrez, he has been found out this season and isn't well rounded enough to cope. Earlier in the season he was isolated and ganged up by opposition defenders, therefore it was no surprise he was quiet. Since Shakey has taken over, he has encouraged Simpson to go up and support Mahrez and certainly against Athletico, Ndidi was always in passing range. Unfortunately Mahrez cut onto his left foot and lost possession, more times then not. When he did pass he gave the ball away or was too late in his decision making (Vardy was clear but Mahrez wouldn't pass earlier enough). Defence isn't Riyad's forte so won't criticise him there, but he needs to take players on the outside as well as the inside and improve his decision making. Without improvement he's a busted flush unfortunately and I would like to see Gray rotated with Mahrez more often, in the hope he takes his position in the future.

I don't think yesterday was one of his better performances, gave the ball away more then usual. Wes being our captain will come straight back into the team. The worry is that back issues are notoriously hard to overcome so Wes could be out for a while. Personally i think Benny's going to get quite a few games from now to the end of the season.

I've only seen him play once against Porto and he looked our best player, but considering the shower of shite we were then, that wasn't difficult. Is he playing as an attacking midfielder for you guys?
