Rodgers is an excellent coach, but like many coaches who are not quite elite, he can't maintain mometum for sustained multi-year success. The problem is our players are now so sapped of confidence, it will make staying up so much harder. That is Rodgers' legacy too

I think we did create when we changed shape but even then we were rushed and panicked and barely caused Bournemouth problems. Perhaps if the team selection was right from the start we would have picked up points but the caretakers have proven to be inept. I have admired Rudkin for a long time - he has overseen a lot of great times at the club. But the lack of a plan and a misplaced loyalty to Rodgers has tarnished his legacy. He should consider his position.
