This forum is always way more active after a loss than a win. People come here to vent and whine. It is understandable I suppose even if it is boring to read. Two weeks to work with the squad now. No excuses not to at least put in a spirited performance. George Elek is going to be unbearable.

I am not sure if you are winding us up or not. Soumare was lazy, ineffectual and was tactically clueless. He may have worked at other clubs and leagues, but he was out of his depth in the Prem. He absolutely was not good enough for us based off his time here. I dont care about his time in the French league I can count on one hand the good games he has had for this club. He was a liability who cost us goals. He rarely tracked back. He is an example of poor recruitment.

That is how I feel. Incomings are good. And we got that fraud Soumare off the books. But we are still lumped with Ward, etc

Ive been finding the women's world cup brilliantly entertaining too. True it isnt as technical as the men's game but it is arguably more dynamic and it has been on the whole very competitive. Great entertainment. I know we need to be Premier League but it is such a soulless place now.

Also Australia has embraced this world cup. Sell out crowds. It is being shown at every pub. Major other codes have delayed their starting time to show the Matildas match live. Epic for the game of football. Epic for the women's game.
