  1. First night live streaming on your Only Fans account?
  2. Think it would be best to use highlighters too so you can group sentences into key subject areas.
  3. I’ve long been of the opinion that Xmas has become an insane waste of money. It’s become the holiday equivalent of ‘thoughts and prayers’ - goodwill to all…as long as no effort has to be made outside of watching Home Alone. We are gifting to charities instead of presents. I’m volunteering, so we’ll just have a family meal and drinks in the evening. No huge credit card bill, no mountains of plastic crap and packaging to take to a refuse centre. Really looking forward to it for once.
  4. Personally, replacing our comedian politicians with actual comedians might be a step up.
  5. New Model Army were dull. No surprise really, they’ve been dull for a while.
  6. No idea why brown bars aren’t more popular in Amsterdam. Shite tourist bars in the Leidseplein were heaving yet 50metres left, right or down would’ve delivered them to a proper authentic cosy bar not charging £8 a pint. I intended on getting baked at some point, but seeing the gangs of lads ripped to the tits being dull idiots was enough to completely put me off. We popped up to the red light area to visit a bar we used to go to decades ago. What have they done to that place? It’s vile. And like the Damrak, stupidly heaving. We’ll not visit that part of the city again. I can understand why the Dutch grew to hate budget tourists now.
  7. Paging @Ric Flair to the thread to ban Jattdogg for life for that pineapple.
  8. Voiceover: They aren’t.
  9. Hotel was, mind - because they charged my card three times, wiping out one credit card.
  10. Think we paid £120ish to fly out of Brum with KLM
  11. But my word it’s pricey now. Almost obscenely pricey. And the hellfest that is what was the red light district is vile, they’ve totally destroyed the old character of the quarters. Couldn’t find one of the old brown bars remaining. The whole of Damrak too is a complete shithole, so lovely going back to the station and catching a 2 or 12 to normality.
  12. Brown bars in dark alleyways Chips and mayonnaise, isn’t it Free cheese trials for days, hmm Love Amsterdam
  13. Does tax return All files stored in cloud Cloud app down Tits
  14. And yet imagine for a moment you are suffering from a MH problem and you have a crisis when having to leave the house on your own to attend a surgery, one where the phone isn’t answered for up to a couple of hours. Or that public transport lets you down. And imagine for a second that the real issue is not people failing to attend appointments but the chronic underfunding of services and the ridiculous way GP services are now run.
  15. Mirror’s team could trust him to give evidence that wouldn’t damage their case or force him to perjure himself again (as he did at the Leveson Inquiry)
  16. Yep - but it's like expecting a bear not to shit in the woods. The bear is going to do what the bear has always done. I'm not excusing the behaviour, I just don't think there was ever going to be a permutation where better decisions would have been made with the team as it was. Maybe an emergency cross party action group? But then it's back to the bears and woods thing, the cabinet was the product of Brexit and an inner party shift to the further right. No one is ever going to prison, none of that cash is ever going to be recovered. I think we as a country really have to focus on how we can put in place systems to deal with future major events in a better fashion.
  17. This is probably exceptionally unpopular with those who share my political leanings - but I don't reckon anyone would have done much better at running the country during Covid. Any decision made in one direction would have had implications for others, I don't think there was any "right" path of choices. Yes, they managed to mess an awful lot up, they lied, and money was squandered...but this was an unprecedented situation with non-experts in control. If it wasn't Mone, someone else would've lined their pockets. If money had been directed at care homes, would money have still been given out to the self-employed? I'd much rather there was a reckoning for the lies and hate that fuelled Brexit or the disastrous Truss/Kwarteng budget that wasn't a budget. See, I reckon there's a salient difference between incompetence and intent. Covid was a clusterfvck of ineptitude, Brexit and the £60billion fiscal hole were a choice to benefit the rich over the poor. I'd see those responsible for the latter getting a good gibbeting.
  18. Congrats, hope you both have a long and happy life together

  20. They’re always at London Bridge. They go there to show up in the knowledge that they’ll never be able to get invoked in anything because the police are always there too. Last time we stood there just laughing at them, I reckon they had one pube between the lot of them.
  21. And yet, hunt out this story. Davies may be a bit of a dick at times, but full kudos to the man who put himself in a position to decent a homeless man being attacked - and not for the first time either.
