  1. You're fine to not like any particular shirt btw, but using effeminate in the pejorative makes you come off as a bit of a failure of a person. Happy IWD!
  2. Not even. According to the history section on this site we only dropped to 23rd after losing against Ipswich in the penultimate game of the season.
  3. Drawing your home games and losing your away games is a great strategy for survival. I might be biased though because every single league game I went to under his management was an exercise in torture I wouldn't experience again until last season.
  4. Fascism is miserable. It's where people are supposed to turn when all hope has been erased. Whether it's the fascism of the Taliban, the Republicans or Reform, it's a life of miserable servitude.
  5. What a beautiful morning... Hopefully the first of many.
  6. Forest away, the one where we got dicked 5-1. My dad drives us up and tries to find somewhere in West Bridgford to street park, leaving it way too late for that. He pulls onto some cul-de-sac, and pulls over on this bit of what looked like a patch of scrubland. Within a flash, a bloke in a vest walks out of a front door shouting "YUV PARKED ON ME ****IN' GAHHHHHDUN!"
  7. Normally being eliminated from the FA Cup is one of the worst days of every season except 20/21. I just can't feel enough to care right now.
  8. I don't think Aribo can play against his parent club.
  9. Bit of an underrated skill as it turns out this season. Could say the same of Berbatov or latter day Ibrahimovic.
  10. I wish there was more footage of him playing for us available to watch just so I can take in how much better he was than the duffers playing around him, often to his detriment. Full Premier League archive streaming service can't come soon enough.
  11. Noted, sorry. Just tired of it being yet another stick people use to beat him with when people are allowed to choose what parts of their religion they observe and which they don't, within reason.
  12. Need those fans to be the majority again too.
  13. Do you assume every single self-described Christian you meet abstains from eating meat on a Friday and observes Lent?
  14. I've only been to two football matches this season, Tenerife vs CD Arenteiro and, more enviously, Bolton v Rotherham in the Football League Trophy. I'm a lifetime member of an indy cinema, so I've been going to showings of classic films there, or I go play in a Pokemon TCG event with my friends. I haven't actually needed live football that much cos I've been busy most Saturdays, even though I'd like to go see West Didsbury and Chorlton or something it hasn't aligned.
  15. Danny Ward Jacob Laursen Wayne Brown Matt Mills Ryan Bertrand Dennis Wise Jason Jarrett Junior Lewis Geoff Horsfield Jordan Ayew Harry Kane
  16. It's funny. For all the "we were in League One once you know" they prattle on about, most of them don't really talk about midweek trips to Tranmere and Walsall or watching the team find its feet at this level under Nigel Pearson like I would. Almost like they weren't that into football back then. So yeah. They almost certainly weren't protesting Shipman. Maybe they remember "Don't Go Martin" before suddenly losing interest in football in 2004.
  17. Bit of smart play to nudge that player into conceding a throw in. If I got outmuscled by Luke Thomas I'd retire.
  18. Probably compression due to Sky "having to" broadcast 33 consecutive games.
  19. Nah he really was shit under the past two managers, but they also didn't use him like this.
  20. Port Vale home or away. Think they're one of the few league clubs I haven't seen us play.
  21. I went for the 2-0 win in 2007 which was Ian Holloway's first game in charge. It was at that moment I thought we'll probably be alright.
